Lone_Bullet
what, no thumbrest? very nice shooter!
crackisbad
A thum brest? Is that different from a normal breast? Sorry, couldn't resist Thanks for the parts list, that gun is a beauty! I had been wondering what lower you were using so I guess its time to troll the interweb for it. How do you like it?
aznriptide859
It was an IMMENSE PITA to get it working (I read Junior's ASB review over and over again...minor modifications my *albatross* lol) - sanded so much inside the magwell, had to modify my mag catch, and I completely screwed up the bar spring for the magazine release (I ending up had to drill a new hole and use a RS magazine release spring). I seriously think Pro-Arms's QC has gone down with their frames since Junior reviewed his. If you want to go through the work, it's a nice piece, but if you're lazy (like me) just try and find some KSC traded lowers XD. crackisbad
Well, thats too bad. But for ~$20 I guess that is to be expected to an extent. I guess now to try and find a trigger safety.....
PianoBlack
KWA Proshop is where I ordered my trigger safety less than a week ago. Just search for M17 parts and it should show up. -Piano Edited March 27, 2011 by PianoBlack
crackisbad
Awesome, thanks!
aznriptide859
More pron. BTW, PTS speedplates SUCK - I'm opting for some RS ones soon.
Katotaka
I prefer "+2" than PTS speed plates....... they seems have fitting problem(s) with KSC full size frames, and just OK for compact frames ( G19/23)
jv83
First of all, those are some lovely glocks indeed. Love the g34! I also had problems with the speedplates. Had to file them down to fit. Then they became too flimsy and two of them broke! Will also get the +2 instead.
Katotaka
First of all, those are some lovely glocks indeed. Love the g34! I also had problems with the speedplates. Had to file them down to fit. Then they became too flimsy and two of them broke! Will also get the +2 instead. Get some ACM long mag and exchange the +2 with standard mag and you're done Buying the +2 alone would be very non-cost-effective
aznriptide859
I'll get some RS Speedplates to see if they can be modded to fit (hopefully they'll be sturdier than the PTS ones).
Jrg
Nice 34s!!!
DesertFox
I have PTS Speedplates on all of my TM Glock mags and they fit snug and secure. Maybe it's just the KSC ones?

jv83
odd? just tried that one pack. Maybe a bad batch?
crackisbad
Can't take better pictures due to the rain outside so this will have to do. The tan is a lot darker in person, the flash really made it look much lighter. I'm waiting on the mailman for the trigger safeties. And on the subject of speed plates, I have a few (as you can see from the picture) and they work flawlessly in both the G18c and the G17. Of course, I think mine are ACM not the PTS, but they have no problem whatsoever.
aznriptide859
I might have to try another batch...in the meantime I'm using RS ones.
aznriptide859
Family picture before I sell a few.
crackisbad
I like how different they are from each other even though they are more or less the same gun. And PM sent btw
-Clover-
My humble addition:
Andyjp
I'm loving it Clover! Old school Glock tupperware looks legit as well. Hit me up with that graphic for the side sticker sometime; I'll fix ya up. Best, Andy
Andyjp
Well, finished this up. Here's a couple pics, links to more. Still more work to do on the doctor sight mount (has a switch, not the auto on feature), and I'm waiting for my threaded barrel/compensator to get finished. More pics: http://i469.photobucket.com/albums/rr56/andyjp75/100_0968.jpg http://i469.photobucket.com/albums/rr56/andyjp75/100_0970.jpg http://i469.photobucket.com/albums/rr56/andyjp75/100_0967.jpg http://i469.photobucket.com/albums/rr56/andyjp75/100_0969.jpg http://i469.photobucket.com/albums/rr56/andyjp75/100_0973.jpg (As you can tell on this last one, still doing work on the switch setup!) Suggestions, etc. always appreciated. Best, Andy
