My simple yet very effective Eagle Industries Universal chest rig. I configured it with two added Condor MOLLE accessories - an ambidextrous pistol holster and a dual STANAG magazine pouch that can also doubles as a radio pouch.

In action, I carry the following in this chest rig:

- 4 G3 magazines

- 1 Glock 17 magazine

- Remington 3.5" semi-serrated folding knife

- Gerber multi-tool

- Surefire 6P Defender flashlight

- Glock 17 pistol

- Cobra CrossTalk two-way radio

- Map of Sequoia Airsoft

To me it is. I can't justify spending hundreds on a plate carrier and then throw in another hundred for pouches.

An HSGI Weesatch is more of my thing... In fact, that's what I'm considering for my desert loadout.

It wasnt actually that expensive as you might think you can get them on ebay for around $130.00.

I have a matching multicam pc aswell which dosnt have a cummerbund (because i cant seem to find a molle attchale style one to fit it..)

Hold up, don't they usually just have the 3 mag pouches and 2 small ones at the end?

That's the other version :) I have one of those too...

I only ever saw this type (before I bought this one...) in PLA press photos in use with their Type 81s, it even has the ChiCom stamps on the back :)

Does anyone have any idea of what pattern of chest rig this is? I know it's of a chinese design, but it has nylon straps and i was wondering when it was made:

(and yes I know he's wearing it wrong. Sorry I had to black the face out, but I don't know if he wants his image shown or not.)

Punkypink, are you going to do a VC/PAVN loadout? I don't think i've ever seen a better impression of Hanoi Hannah. I think I have a cone hat somehwere.....

Hmm that vest looks like a chicom vest... with nylon straps? :P

Indeed a type I'd associate with their Type 59, possibly just a production varient from a particular factory :).
