demon.b Posted February 13, 2008 Report Share Posted February 13, 2008 Having recently acquired a CA M249, I'm considering getting a handfull of STANAG hi-caps to use as an alternative to the box mag. I'm assuming that any type of M16 STANAG will fit, but before I drop the cash are there any brands that don't work with an M249? I've had a nose around the search function but haven't turned anything up, but if anyone knows any useful threads could they point them out. Thanks for any help. Link to post Share on other sites

If you held the mag all the way in it would feed just fine but the mag catch would never grab it to hold it in Link to post Share on other sites

In the middle of a large OP, my box mag went down, and I borrowed somebody's G&G hicap before they went to flank the other team, counting on me for covering fire. That wasn't a fun situation...
