merlin6823
Huys, lost the instructions for the charger, and don't want to screw anything up... If anyone has one, what should the amps dial be set to, idealy to slow charge a 9.6v battery? Are the settings the same for a fast charge? Thanks for any help, Mart
gisburn20
I use the lowest setting on the dial (all the way anticlockwise) , same for fast charge Jim
Tom Andrews
For slow charge, set the dial to approximately 1/10th of the capacity of the battery you are charging. If it is 2200 mah, then set dial to 220 mah or there abouts. I would leave the fast charge setting as that. I have noticed with the Propeaks that we have, that the peak detection point on fast charges appears to kick in too soon. We now press the button for a second charge straight away. Otherwise the batterys run flat within an hour. Which can be embaressing.

Apex
The charger only has 2 charge rates, trickle @ 130mAh and then using the fast option which goes from 500mAh to 3000mAh on 240v mains a(nd a peak of 5000Ah when runing from a 12v source) I just put the dial to 500/1000mAh and press the charge and leave it till done.
