Anyone know how to remove wgc's trademark paint or what it even is

I have a VFC M203 that was purchased a while back. The main reason i bought it was the dark black color and knights trade marks. It has something that WGC uses to cover their trademarks and I am not sure what it is. It looks like a thin sheet of metal or some really heavy duty paint. I have successfully taken it off in the past on a metal body but it was years ago and i don't remember what i did. I also scratched it in the past and i am not looking to do this again. If WGC uses putty, which I think they do, just take a hair dryer and heat the putty up. After a while it should soften and you should be able to peel it off easily without harming the paint.

Thanks for the hairdryer tip. It's been at least 5-6 years since I've ordered a trademarked gun from overseas, and the WA pistol I have incoming will have the trades puttied.
