hawaiianjuggernaut
I tried switching the bucking back to a TM stock. Of no avail.
amateurstuntman
Take the barrel out and see how easily individal bbs can get through tthe hop assembly, sometimes those G+P units need a ltlle bit of filing down...
Baddbaz
I have a problem with my tm aug a2 that is causing misfeeding on auto . If I pull the receiver towards the stock it feeds perfectly but as soon as I let go it fires the bbs but misfires every 10 or so bbs . There seems to be a couple of mm movement between the stock and receiver when locked in place I tried a jg a3 front end and the gap is tighter and it feeds perfectly , is there any way to take up the gap on the tm reciever or is there another issue here I am missing ?? Hedganian
It could be gearbox migration - open up the back end and check that the plastic plate behind the gearbox is fastened tightly in place. If it is, then remove it and add some shims to the back of the gearbox to push it further forwards when the plate is screwed back into place. Â If that's not it, check that your hop up unit is not damaged, too loose or otherwise in the wrong place. Also check the hop bucking.
Vice
Random question. Would a KA phantom kit fit on a TM AUG HC? Â Looks like the upper rail would interfere with it.. Not sure though and don't have any AUG parts to hand.. Â Another question regarding the HC, is the upper rail block removable from the barrel assembly? I cannot seem to find any take down guides or detailed images to help my thoughts. Â Cheers
Baddbaz
A couple of questions to throw out to you guys 1 . Will the later aug hc trigger / fire selector fit in an ordinary tm aug / the one with the auto lock off / safety 2 . Is there an significant gains / loses to be had by fitting the later eg 1000 motor ? As mine has the eg700 motor fitted . Wondering what the differences are between the two ? 3 , bore up kits ??? Do they improve or lessen the gun
amateurstuntman
Don't know. Yes but there are other, chinese motors that are better again for not much money. In the UK, with a normal length barrel - no point.
Jibbity
 1 . Will the later aug hc trigger / fire selector fit in an ordinary tm aug / the one with the auto lock off / safety  I have never seen the HC trigger/safety, but it is super easy to mod the standard safety to get this functionality. Pictures are in this thread I believe.
TerranCmdr
I wouldn't say super easy without at least a dremel or something. I tried to do it myself with a multi tool, knife, file, heated piece of metal, still haven't been able to do it completely.
Jibbity
That is a fine point. The dremmel is key. You may be able to do it with a razor knife, but it would be tricky.
rockshark
I've done mine with a razor sharp knife and it works like a charm. Just be carefull, take your time and only cut small pieces at a time. When happy with the result, press some hot metal to the cut out parts and to get a smoother finish. I cannot seem to find any take down guides or detailed images to help my thoughts.  Cheers  In answer to my question and hopefully for somebody's use in the future.  It will not fit without two significant mods.  1: You need the very front block from a standard Aug (with the gas tube etc) - The bit that comes off when you disconnect the barrel. 2: You need to dremel the top rail significantly to accomodate the fat supressor.   Does anybody have number 1 for sale? rockshark
Anyone ever used the Action Silencer adapter for AUG? I've ordered one to shorten my AUG, but now I read that it should be modified to fit a JG AUG. So, anyone installed one before and if yes, what modifications must be done?
Hedganian
I've used similar things before, they ought to fit without any hassle, but I've not used that exact model, so can't help specifically. Â See the first few pages of this thread for info on that type of adaptor.
rockshark
Adaptor fits like a glove, my shorty AUG is born

hawaiianjuggernaut
What kind of batteries are you all running in your AUGs. My TM's battery space is limited and i dislike it. 7.4 mini lipos arent working for me.
rockshark
I'm still using the standard JG battery that came with it but it's dying on me, so I've ordered a 7.4V 20C 21000 mAh that should fit, I'll be able to test that out next week.
Baddbaz
I use the oblong 7.4 rc blue one in my tm , fits perfect
Wild_XIII
Does anyone know where to get AUG trigger contacts from? The ones in my Classic Army AUG appear to have been scorched so much it won't shoot any more! Also Semi auto didn't work either before it crapped out with the contacts.
