Recommended Posts

Recently acquired TM P90 TR, will convert to RDS soon. Had a late start school day, so painted lower receiver khaki, also painted with textured grip. Looks darker in person :D

Totally loving the paint job! Are you gonna put a supressor on it? Or maybe one of those tan Firepigs? Also the optics look great on there :)

Did you paint the buttplate as well?

I used Duplicolor's Spray-On Bedliner, bought in $7 20oz cans I think from any auto store. Don't shake the can and you'll get even a rougher texture. The texture does wear out after time, but if you play w/o gloves like me, then there is no sweat residue after you're done which is a LOT better than the sticky plastic stuff :P

Logo, where did you get that rear P90 sling strap? I've spent ages searching for that 0_0

Well i hope it's ok to post it here, if not, please forgive me for this :)

This sling is till a work in progress, the way it is now is quite comfortable to wear on my right side with a single point sling.

What you will need to make a p90 sling mount:

~40cm (~16 inches) of 25mm (1 inch) wide nylon webbing

~65cm (~26 inches) of 30mm (~1.2 inch) wide nylon webbing (you can also use 25mm here if you want)

~10cm (~4 inches) of 25mm (1 inch) wide velcro

1 x 25mm metal rectangle

1 x 30mm buckle (this depends on what ling are you going to attach, i use a 30mm wide single point sling which i made myself)

a lighter (to burn of frayed edges)

a needle and thread

First you need to attach the metal rectangle to 25mm wide webbing.

This piece should be about 37-38cm long not including the rectangle.

Then cut the velcro strap to about 8-8.5 cm and stitch one part to the end of the webbing and the other about 1.5cm away like this:

It should go in your p90 like this:

Now take the 30mm webbing and cut about 50cm long piece of it. You need to make loops at both ends of it so that the 25mm webbing can go through it. Dont make it too tight of you'll have trouble pulling the velcro strip through it.

With loops stiched this piece should be around 38.5 cm long

Then take the remaining 30mm webbing and make a loop for 25mm on one end and attach a buckle on the other end. I used the female part of the buckle, but it depends on what sling are you doing to attach. I would try to make this piece as short as possible.

Nice! simple, but efficient!.

@Watz: that's a beauty, which nut did you have do give in for that piece? :P

It couldn't be cheap that's for sure.

Too bad about the ROF, I mean P90s are famous for their high ROF. :(
