Tommygunn
It's gold plated. End of story. No doubt the parts would not have been parkerised, or whatever HK do to them, or stripped down afterwards(most likely - by a third party) and then plated. Whether HK did this themselves is probably unlikely, even though they have done similar custom jobs in the past. Edited September 28, 2006 by Tommygunn
canizzle
Thats why in the old days people bite the gold to see if it dents in. If it does, its real gold. Thats why you cant make guns out of real gold, it would probably bend.

squeeky
I dont have this gun anymore but i do have a pic. Its a Maruzen GBB MP5K made into a PDW. It was a fun gun   This one is also old. I made it for a buddy of mine like 4 years ago? Its based off a TM mp5 and has an ICS metal body, RAS, aimpoint replica, and a nunchuck battery is stored half in the RAS and half in the cheap PEQ. Also the mags were joined together to make 1 mag and holds 400 rounds.   Oh and its also featured on Boomarms for some reason Edited September 29, 2006 by squeeky
