Robot2000... you could argue the fact that you "have" the rails if you actually need them. I've seen a few sniper rifles in the sandbox with a bipod mounted to a RAS, and other things such an AN-PEQ2. Also, as Phoe said... RAS = more durable than handguards. What's the total lenght of the rifle now? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> On the front of the ag36 itself, there is a plastic block that supports the barrel. However, this is for the outer barrel, and will not fit the K flashhider. I filled away at it (though steel, took ages!) until it fits, and it is nice and snug. Total lenght is 83cm give or take, my ruler isn't that long. Hope that helps. Link to post Share on other sites

Haven't fired mine yet or skirmished it (obviously) but should be good by all accounts.
