Fighting Maus Report post Posted March 29, 2008 I have a Hero Arms G36 KAC Drum which has never really worked to my satisfaction. The pressure switch winds the internals, but it still feeds poorly. I hit upon the idea of swapping the main winding spring with one from a regular manual wind highcapacity magazine. The hope is that the highcap spring will have more power. Its worth a try anyway. The issue is I can't seem to be able to remove the internals to have access to the spring. It would appear that the mechanism is either sonic welded or glued in place.
