reaper16
Out of curiosity what GB does the AUG use? this may seem like a totally idiotic question, and i expect it to be a v3 , but Ive been an AR nut my entire airsoft time and have no earthly idea. Overkill1369 aka Lawrence
x2 needs something though...maybe a civilian upper rail...I dunno... I have a mount that will attach to the scope and will allow me to mount a Doctor Sight on it, also have a stubby Tango Down fore grip for the front rail. Not really wanting to add much more than that since anything else will just mess up the lines on it. I might not even go for the Tango Down grip and just use black MAGPUL ladder rail covers Out of curiosity what GB does the AUG use? this may seem like a totally idiotic question, and i expect it to be a v3 , but Ive been an AR nut my entire airsoft time and have no earthly idea. Scharf
Thanks for the repost. I quite like the flash excluder you're using there - what kind is it? Not sure about the unsual sling attachment - I've not found any problem with the standard sling loops... Its a phantom flashider, as for the sling loops have you tried using a 1point sling on them? This set up is really comfortable, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5MvxXQ_o4Q
Hedganian
Why the hell would I want a 1-point sling on an assault rifle? It's not a Mac-10. But each to their own, I guess. Overkill - Any chance of pics of that Doctor mount for the AUG scope? I'm wanting one of those....
Scharf
Why the hell would I want a 1-point sling on an assault rifle? It's not a Mac-10. did you ever try it? 1. the weapon is more manoeuvrable than on a 3point. 2. with just one push you get the rifle of the sling. if you google "one point sling" pictures you actually see only rifles using them. but if you dont like the idea no prob

Phuncz
Since today, my TM Steyr AUG Civilian with Swiss Arms 4x32 optics, cheap plastic silencer (will be replaced) and removed handle: I'm liking this setup very much !

ktk_ace
My humble AUG collection. Mix of JG and TM. MP7 sights and custom rail for that PARA AUG. No foregrip, I grip a la M16 most of the time. very special MP7 pistol sights (modded with like less than dollars worth of stuff ). Hedganian
It has to be said - that digiflage cammo tape on the stock looks *horrible* up close. The receiver doesn't actually look too bad, though.

Function over form, but i'll try to re-tape the whole AUG if i can find a bigger piece of cloth. Edited December 18, 2009 by ktk_ace
Bloodsword
Just keep it like it is, no1 will notice the flaws from a longer distance. Hedganian just likes whining about every small thing.
Hedganian
And Bloodsword apparently likes spamming picture threads and getting involved in conversations that have nothing to do with him. Edited December 20, 2009 by Hedganian

Although, personally, I don't like digiflage patterns very much.
scorch
Looks like a CADPAT knockoff.
ktk_ace
Looks like a CADPAT knockoff. um, its green and it comes in small pixels. I have heard that cadpat thing too many times, guess im indiffernt to it already. as long as it works as concealment, im good.
TheMerchantOfVenice
Right, I'm interested in an AUG for CQB. Few questions for the AUG users: -How manageable are they for CQB? -Can you get shorter AUG barrels? -How awkward are reloads in tight spaces? For general AUG users: -What's the best AUG for around $200-$250? -How do you carry your mags?
Hedganian
This is a pictures thread. Ask questions in the FAQ/Helpdesk thread, after reading through the information that is already in there (which includes answers to at least one of your questions, probably more). Link below. ollie_ty
Hi Guys. I've just bought myself a JG AU-3G ( Thought it best not to call it an A3 ) I currently have a T-1 Microdot on it, But It just doesn't feel right. So, my current dilema is this: -Do I go for an M2 on a cantillever mount OR -Do I go for a clone 552 My main concern is height. Im scared that BOTH of these sights are going to be too high off the rail to be comfortable for me ( You don't get much lower than a T-1!) so whichever ends up lower would be ideal really, but looking at them, Im guessing that they both add up to around the same height? I hope you can make some sense out of this and give me some advice!

Shinden
You can also try the Bushnell XLP if you have the cash, its a low profile holosite with great style, however its quality is debateable. Edited December 27, 2009 by Shinden
