ViciousV10s
Looks awesome Ben, so what's your verdict on the AS frame? Mono-rails = better?
hkssr20det
I think so. I need to re-fit the Blowback Unit to the new frame, but with it loosely held in place, the smoothness is immediately noticeable, even with the heavy recoil spring I am running. Worth it, for sure, if you can find one.

hkssr20det
No optics, open sights on this one. The other gun is my optics gun. Yeah I know you can get them...
felix4536
awesome gun. You need make its worth and shoot it before selling it.
Romulus
Well, I have now finished the rough built of my 5.1 (I know it looks like a 4.3 but it is all 5.1 guts). I still need to do some finish work to get everything to match but this is close. The comp also isn't going to be used forever but I had it sitting on my self so I threw it on.  The background of this piece is that my first real build was a Hi-Capa 5.1 in this same color scheme. Over time the gun got broken up but I missed it so I decided to rebuild something in the same vein.  Heres the old one:   Heres the new one:      Bits:  TM 5.1 TM 4.3 Slide TM 4.3 Recoil Bushing TM 4.3 Recoil Rod  SD SVI Stickers SD Mag Lip  Guarder Hi-Flow  RCW Magwell (Black) RCW Short Stroke RCW Grip Screws  WE Blue Grip  PDI Threaded Adapter PDI Comp  9Ball Mag Base Plate
akman26
Any pics of the WE Baby Hicapa 3.9? I looked through this whole thread and some of the old thread and I searched and still didn't find any pics.
BiGSeXyFLaVoR
Â Â Â Â Does the long outer barrel look weird? Edited July 29, 2008 by BiGSeXyFLaVoR
krame
Got a Guarder thumb rest for the SVI. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
BiGSeXyFLaVoR
    Update: I tried to make a compensator on the outer barrel  Does it look ok?
AnotherJesus
Would be nice to have an image of it with the slide in it's forward position. I like the idea. Think it might have been betting with slightly sloping cuts. Kudos for doing it anyways.
BiGSeXyFLaVoR
Thanks! Sorry, i'm not a professional at modding but here you go: Â Â Â
AnotherJesus
Now that does look nice. On second thoughts, ignore my comment about slopeyness. You'd have to line it up with the groves in the slide, then it wouldn't be a very effective compensator. I like it as it is : )
ViciousV10s
AS SVI frame fitted  The fit with the Guarder slide is superb, hardly any side-to-side or up-down movement at all.  I sanded the sides and bottom for a less matte, more reflective, look.      Edited July 31, 2008 by ViciousV10s

ViciousV10s
Thanks guys, Â Cubix - it's a 4.
RacingManiac
I think I'll add it to a list of stuff to do now....AS frame on a Hi-Capa 4.3, with 5.1 internal and comp.....seems like a fashionable build....

RacingManiac
is that a TM 1911 slide on a 4.3?
Romulus
I built a setup like that for a friend but I finally convinced him to run a 5.1 frame which looked much slicker. Â The Camo SVI is certainly a unique piece. Is it a WA?
Stealth1911.
is that a TM 1911 slide on a 4.3?  Yup, was bored, had 3 pistols infront of me so decided to have a play  I built a setup like that for a friend but I finally convinced him to run a 5.1 frame which looked much slicker. The Camo SVI is certainly a unique piece. Is it a WA?  Yup, WA Prokiller SV2000F iirc, sold it a while back, semi and full auto, lovely gun.
AnotherJesus
Yup, WA Prokiller SV2000F iirc, sold it a while back, semi and full auto, lovely gun. Â And she's currently sat on my floor, not being fixed... Should get round to that sometime, but the damn leaf springs bent out of position again, and it took me 20 minits last time to get it working right. Gotta file down that SD chamber as well. Still sticks back when you fire it on the level or downwards. God that gun's a pain. Gorgeous though, and you've just reminded me how much I like that 4.3. with 1911 slide and m3. cubix
Didn't know You can swap the slides from 1911 to 2011 Do You have any idea if that would work in a WA ? Very nice guns !
