DarkLite
Is that an HFC? Interesting that there seem to be two options on the front of the box...

Blue4
Is that an HFC? Interesting that there seem to be two options on the front of the box... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There are no marks on the rifle or the box other than copies of the authentic stamps!!!! But the box is similar in style to a HFC springer one. (See comparison pic.) Although the cruddy M16 A1 has HFC molded on the receiver. There are a LOT of metal parts on this L85A1 and the furniture is the closest to the real steel I have seen on any Airsoft Model... yes it would appear on the box that two varients were offered at one time (air/Springer) and Gas. (see attached photos.) So anyone reading this know if this is a HFC or some obscure oddity? Edited April 8, 2005 by Red5
boxer1
half of these are real 5.56mm, isnt that against the forum rules? dont want to ruin anyones fun etc.

Catchv22
I think L85s with AG36s have a certain appeal to them as well.
Unlimited Ammo
ya mean like this L85 w/underslung AG36
Un_FriendlyFire
THat first pic is definitely a real steel stripped down. I love the silencer and scarily enough that looks real as well (thank god they dont really have silencers on ) AG36s make the L85 look kinda....too long Edited April 10, 2005 by Un_FriendlyFire

doc_newstead
That's the HFC one. People seem to think it's ok, but I think it's a POS It looks alright (but very plastic), but the accuracy, poor sights and magazine mean it's not even much cop for plinking. The chargin handle has been pulled back... less than a 100 times, and it's already looking like it can't take much more I bought it completely as a prop for piccies, like so http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v125/dr_newstead/shop6.jpg
Fullauto
Nice get-up there Doc As soon as my sling comes through you can have piccies of the L85 I bought off Red5. Unsure of the make, think it's an HFC - similar packaging. It's got a metal outer barrel and flash hider and a few other metal odds and sods (trigger guard, front sight mounts, sling mounts and mag release.). Got a serial on it - ASGK89510LS. squale
Squale: How do like that Toystar SA80? I was considering getting one but have not heard very good things about any L85's anywhere. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I could not affirm ,but all SA80 spring replica are the same quality:not realy awesome (but for the look ) The toystar one have a full plastic outer barrel, and i'm not sure but the susat scope seems to be different than the HFC one(no foresight in) i bought it 5 years ago here http://www.modelmarts.com/mall.php3?query=...gt;Rifle&no=86#
Fullauto
All susats seem to be pretty criminal in quality. Anyone tried to put an aimpoint replica inside the shell of one?
squale
All susats seem to be pretty criminal in quality. Anyone tried to put an aimpoint replica inside the shell of one? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I should do it,as i find a red dot with the perfect size for that ...or I think ,i could ask Tom Andrews from http://www.eliteactiongames.co.uk for more explanations(He has made this modification or buy one already made here http://www.mfiap.com/airsoft/aug_susat.htm (but i'm not sure if they sell to foreign country
