Firstly, why not just buy the brown one in the first place, is that's the colour you wanted?

 

Secondly, just get some Krylon the colour you want, mask off the parts you don't want to be brown, and spray away.

 

Thirdly, yes, I've seen plenty of Tavors in Desert Tan. They look like this:

All this talk of tavors has just reminded me to post an updated shot of mine.

 

Now with Shorter CTAR barrel =]

 

 

 

Also finally got it working as it should by just buying another gearbox and slotting it in...

 

Clicked this thread on accident. Now I really want one! Also, the effect on that photo is a little over the top but holy ###### it looks amazing. Props!

Nah, that looks like it was just not primed properly and the paint came off easy. For a real good looking used effect paintjob, there's this:

Just start off by base coating the whole gun in tan then do the weathering effects.

Cheers Corrigan the short barrel really makes it feel that little bit more maneuverable indoors plus I don't recall ares selling a short barreled version of the OD railed tar with a short barrel so its sort of unique I suppose.
