It lives!

attached by 2 bolts under the barrel

one in the trigger guard, and one at the base of the grip

all biting into nuts embedded in the blade ^_^

this has been tested against mags worth of ammo... recoil doenst affect it... a major concen tbh...

5-6 coats of metalic silver paint next, then shes done (before polioshing)

So i was bored, and the plain attached blade looked too simple....

i found some thin metal, which i shaped and used to act as 'mounting brackets' im sure it will look nicer when finished. but the intent is there. possibly replace it with thicker metal plate, but that could make weight an issue....

Damn.

That looks awesome enough that I am tempted to make something similar. I admit though that I'll probably cheat with the new techniques I learned from the P90 cut-off lever project and use aluminum powder filled polyurethane to cast the blade.

if you ever intend to skirmish it, make sure its not edged :P

or your screwed :P

It looks like you used a slight bevel to produce a mock edge - how wide is it along the "edge"? IIRC, you mentioned that the blade itself is about 8mm thick.
