Hence hearing the sound on the T.V in the front room when I'm on my computer is all but impossible. Believe me, I've tried. The specs I can be bothered posting: AMD XP2000 (or something like that) 1.8GHz, 40GB hard disk,(Don't laugh) 256 DDR RAM,(I said stop laughing in the back) NVIDIA GeForce4 MMX 440, (Don't make me come over there) Rubbish speakers, Sort of big monitor, 4 USB ports, Funky blue thing on the front of the case, Dusty as hell. Right now, only SunOS and Unix - not including littler lesser known OS's, can really handle 64 bit chips well. And I doubt any one here is running sun OS. Let alot maybe linux.) 1280 megs of ram (Yes, over a gig in laptop. I had x2 256, and I put a 1024 in but had to take one of the 256's out.) Abit Nf7S motherboard AMD 2500XP Barton OC'd to 3200 speeds 1gb Kingston value ram Sapphire Radeon 9600 pro WD 120gb HD Viewsonic G810 21in monitor It has onboard Soundstorm audio which ranks up there with a lot of the Soundblaster Audigy stuff, but it doesn't matter since I use some crappy 2.1 polk audio speakers I got for free. BUT, if I want sound, I go to my downstairs system, HK AVR520, Klipsch RF3II (2) and RC3II, and an SVS PB2ISD Computers arent a hobby, but audio sure is. Link to post Share on other sites
