Alex Schmalex
Alright so my load out is basically, all black. The nearest CQB site just closed, and the 3 closest ones currently are all woodland areas. Can anyone offer some advice besides purchasing new gear? I was thinking about different BDUs to compliment my black gear. Anyone have pics of ACU BDUs with black gear etc? Thanks in advance.
Payne06
I think the black gear over woodland BDUs would look nice.
The Badger
The Badger would think an FBI HRT loadout would work, its still CQB ish, but all you need is OD BDUs.
-MOOSE-
Spray paint it all with a bit of OD and brown.
Carter
^ agreed. Hit it with some Krylon if it is absolutely killing you. Otherwise, do as the Badger suggested.
Alex Schmalex
Anyone have pics of Woodland or ACU BDUs with black gear?
Carter
Google turned this up: http://www.scsheriff.com/SWAT.jpg Entire SWAT team decked out in Woodland BDU's and Black tactical vests.
pandemonium808
Here it is with ACU. Sorry if it is a little dark, every time I used the flash it would disappear, somehow.
evansy
Its DPM and not US woodland but heres a few pics to give you an idea of how woodland and black looks Its not quite as bad as people make out but why not go to your local surplus shop and get some cheap wooland BDU's and some alice gear. PCA_PJ
^^ See all above post supporting woodland with black, it's definitely your best option.
McArthur
Oh you could use MARPAT with black, just reminding you that Woodland and DPM aren't the only ones out there. This is a picture I piched from a New Zealand club's forum, hopefully they don't see it on here then massacre me later
Belladonna
why the C mag if full auto is illegal in New Zealand?
PlasticMag
Looks maybe? This is airsoft, after all. You slapped a blade on the bottom of a Desert Eagle...
Spedz
But that was for Knife kills obviously Plasticmag.
PlasticMag
Oh right. Silly me.
The Badger
The Badger would postulate that the drum mag is for keeping beer cans in (at least, that is what he would use it for)
McArthur
Don't know. Either pic is from before the times of the full auto law or it's there for looks *shrugs*
JimmerUK
I read this thread with interest as I was considering getting black kit to wear over my DPM BDUs. The reasoning being that 'black goes with anything' so I could wear it with DPM, grey, desert, or indeed black, depending on scenario. I would only have to buy one set of belts, vests, etc and various BDUs (cheaper option) as opposed to loads of different kit. Seeing the pictures I'm convinced black is the way forward. Thorbard
Khaki or brown will go better with most things than black. Certainly when it comes to DPM, DDPM, BDU, DCU, Marpat, Multicam...

FallenGuard
I OD as well....
Filip von Izabelin
And black makes you stick out in the woods almost like having a "shoot me" sign on your chest.
McArthur
So does ACU, yet one of the world's most advanced militaries use it
Pkekyo-Nor
I'd rather say one of the world's most stubborn militaries... the ACU is utter ######s. I'll give it the credit of being somewhat effective in CQC environments, but that's about it...no matter how much that thing breaks up your silouette, you'll get alot of lead flying your way whilst standing infront of a bloody pine tree thinking your camo's concealing you...
