This is what happens when Evike sends me a Second tac light instead of the pressure switch I actually ordered.

One light is a G&P R500s and the other is some Ultrafire junk they sent me

I get bored some times lol

Who needs guns when can just fry the bastards alive? :P

BTW, Ultrafire is quite good actually(for the price). It's basically a Surefire copy.

Hey, if they don't make you return the Ultrafire, I'll buy it from you... How much would you want for it?

I'd say it's pretty easy, since there's no m733 in his picture.

I don't know, man.

Does it look like a modified M733 to you now?

How do you like the business end? Would you like an XM177E2 moderator with that?

gallery_48501_1340_23758.jpg

Still not convinced?

I don't know, man.

I'm not trying to come off as an *albatross*, as previously suggested, but if we're going to get specific, the upper reciever and barrel is wrong for an m733.

I've still have my TM "m733", but I've added a correct (if it is exact that is) G&P upper and lower, as well as the G&P front set with the thinner barrel and older flash hider.

It looks a lot like a short m16a2 with an XM-something flash hider though.

Still, not trying to be an *albatross*, just madly in love with the real m733, Heat is my favorite movie of all time. :P

The M733 is currently marketed by Colt as the "M4 Commando." It is basically an M4 with an 11.5" barrel and variable trigger group (burst or FA). Previously, it has been marketed as the "M16A2 Commando" and was basically an updated XM177E2 with features borrowed from its larger, more modern cousin. My carbine is perfectly correct except for the moderator, which is a personal touch.

The upper receiver is correct for an older M733 - most of them have the A2-style rear sight and carrying handle, although some still retain A1-style features. The barrel is 11.5", which is also correct. The thinner barrel is true on the earliest M733s - before the introduction of the heavier barrel used on the M16A2.

I thought the current M4 Commando was marketed as m933, with the changed upper reciever, flash hider and variable trigger group.

The upper receiver is correct for an older M733.

The A2 upper is correct for the older Commando? The older Commando with the thinner barrel had the A1 upper, before the A2 was introduced, right?

CAR-15 are generally assembled from whatever spare parts that are in inventory at the time. My carbine is correct, and so is yours judging from the description you have given.

The term "older" is relative. Introduced in the eighties, the A2 upper receiver is considered old today. Personally, I believe that the first M733s had A1 upper receivers and barrels. Later versions are essentially shortened M16A2s, and the latest versions are quite similar to the CQBR. Colt refers to all of them, collectively, as CAR-15s.

Thank you! I didn't know all this, and this discussion has given me a lot of information that I find interresting.

Didn't mean to upset anyone from the beginning, 'tis just that my english isn't perfect, and I'm a little lazy.
