TriChrome Posted December 20, 2008 Report Share Posted December 20, 2008 For posterity sake I thought I'd post some pics of this unfinished build since the gun is now in a pile of parts... I sold the G&P metal body with the fake trademarks and have a VLTOR MUR metal body on it's way along with a Magpul CTR stock in FDE, LaRue SPR mount for a Barska short dot scope, and 20rd PMAGs with ranger pull in FDE to finish it off. 500 FPS with .25's in a MTHaynes gearbox, semi-auto only per field rules of course. I will be testing out a G3 length Tanio Koba Twist barrel and an EdGI 6.02 ported barrel (still need to purchase the RiotSC Torque Plus gears to finish the gearbox though). reaper16 Posted December 21, 2008 Report Share Posted December 21, 2008 I doubt those who spend money are angry, The new and old version ACOG's are much high quality(you cant adjust alot of clone acog's or so ive heard) And the newest version ACOG's not sure of which models this pretains too have eye relief that has a bigger range. As for the "Poor happy, rich angry" thing, I think I've got around $2200 invested in that one PTW. Not to mention the other ones I have. Not exactly a "Poor mans" investment...
