drummguy731
Thanks man, the reason I have it is because 1), its the only scope I have, and 2), I play a back position and this trusty old scope has come in handy a plethora of times. But thanks for the compliments! Oh, and thats a pretty bad *albatross* load out of yours. Really worn looking, perfect for all M4's in my opinion. Mashed-Potatoes
Its not extremely fancy or anything, but its tough as nails and it gets the job done. Hey, just wondering, what suppressor is that? Is it homemade? Looks great in any case.
drummguy731
Oooh, no, haha, I wish I was that good. Its actually a 200mm Deep Fire Silencer. Its covering a 509mm Systema TBB, so its not all for form, haha. Thanks! Edited July 30, 2008 by drummguy731
pforcerecon
They're in the stock tube. BaBa, where can I get the front sight tower mount? quick question titleist, is the battery just like how either one would be for a CA stock or G&P stock being a 3 stick type with one in the tube and the other 2 in the open slots of the crane stock? or is it just a straight lipo or stick that goes in the tube? if my question is confusing for any i apologize. Carter
Sorta, kinda relevant... I'm looking at getting a King Arms gearbox and I have a question. King Arms makes 6mm, 7mm, and 8mm gearboxes. What's the advantages of the higher bushing size? What I mean is, why should I shell out the extra cash for a 7mm or 8mm gearbox?
Downslide
~~~Snip~~~http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b134/ikari304/Airsoft/CQBra.jpg[/img] my current primary CSI, what kind of grip is that? and what brand of stock? Slick weapon, btw.
T.P.Evan
What I mean is, why should I shell out the extra cash for a 7mm or 8mm gearbox? Bearing bushings have less friction than standard bushings, and the larger size bearing bushings you go with, the less friction it will have over the smaller bearing bushings. 8mm gearboxes are a ROF ######'s dream.....10mm even more so, but if only they were produced. QDRenegade
QDRenegade what kinf of RAS/RIS do you have on your gun. 'Real steel' Patriot Ordinance Factory P12X. Retails at $285 and hasn't been knocked off. The lowest priced part they have is an M4 length handguard at $225 and $245. QDRenegade, this is a newb question but was there any modification required to fit that PRS on your M4? Thanks. The Magpul PRS mounts to an A2 stock's receiver extension. That said, it can easily replace any A2 stock or with the purchase of a $30 adaptor, replace any collapsable stock. I did have to dremel the sling mount a bit - its tolerances were off just a hair. Cheers.
nasty-nate
NO! it's not one of those stupid A&K knockoffs...with that out of the way lol-- started as a CA m15a4 TAC carbine, but the only thing left stock is.... the pistol grip! hah from left to right, external: CA crane with 9.6v 3600 elite cqb rear sling mount (g&p bungee not pictured) special forces body CA pistol grip KA spr style trigger guard 3x zoom aimpoint magnifier 4 reticle HOLO sight CA quad fiber front set knockoff offset flashlight mount with streamlight flashlight (surefire quality) 10'' outer barrel with flip up sight KA socom style silencer. uscmCorps
Wowowowow. Most amazing 2 guns I have ever seen in one pic! Good job. Thanks! One day I'll have to take pics of all my pimped guns... some day... uscmCorps- What do you think of the VIS? Is it worth the monies? I'd say it was worth it. I do like it. It definitely feels very solid. And I love the look of it. uscmCorps, what's the diff between the top M4 lower receiver vs the bottom M4 lower receiver? Edit: Is your VIS post Dupont coated or pre-? Top M4 receiver has the VIS-1, the bottom one has a MUR. The VIS-1 is not the Dupont coating. It actually came with a lot of paint defects, but then again, it was a sample piece so I didn't mind too much. Plus the bad paint spots were easily sanded down using 60/120/400/500/1200 grit sand paper and then resprayed with Krylon Flat Black. By the time I was done it was good as new. I'll be getting in a sample of the VIS-2 next week, and that'll have the new Dupont coating on it. 10 minutes after taking these pics, I took the M203 off the top gun to keep it just as a rifle. I do like how solid the gun is with the VIS and the 12.5" barrel is a nice compromise in length vs maneuverability. Here's a parts list... Top M4 (VLTOR M4K) ~ • G&P CQBR Base gun (Internally Upgraded throughout) • DYTac VIS-1 • G&P VLTOR Lower Receiver • Proud VLTOR Flash hider • Magpul PTS MIAD • Magpul PTS Enhanced Trigger Guard • RS EOTech 551 • RS VLTOR Front Sight • RS VLTOR MOD-Stock • RS VLTOR Sling Plate • RS TROY Rear Sight • RS Badger Ordnance Gen. 1 Latch • G&P M203 (shorty) • Guarder M4 Steel barrel turned down to M4K 12.5" barrel Bottom M4 (MM Special) ~ • G&P CQBR Base gun (Internally Upgraded throughout) • DYTac MUR • G&P VLTOR Lower Receiver • Mabull Noveske Flash hider • G&P Tango Down Pistol Grip in FDE • Magpul PTS Enhanced Trigger Guard • RS EOTech 553 in FDE • RS VLTOR CASV-M Hand Guard in FDE • RS VLTOR CASV-M Front Sight • RS VLTOR Low Profile Gas Block • RS VLTOR MOD-Stock in FDE • RS VLTOR Surefire Light Mount • RS Surefire G2 • RS Tango Down Stubby Vertical Grip in FDE • RS TROY Professional Grade Receiver Sling Adapter • RS TROY Rear Sight • RS Badger Ordnance Gen. 1 Latch • RS Magpul Ranger Plate • Madbull Aluminum barrel turned down to 7.5" Noveske Length • G&P Ambi-safety • G&P Delta Ring Set
Octopus
A few pictures of my Colt Commando. It was an M733 (Tokyo Marui) once upon a time, but now it's probably got more in common with the RO933. I was considering converting it into a CQBR, but decided against it, as I prefer the non-RIS front end.

uscmCorps
uscmCorps, that second Vltor M4 is simply beautiful! How much she set you back? Way waaaaaaaaaayyyyy too much. Over a grand at least on just the external parts. uscm: Love the bottom one. The top one looks like its bent and curving down though...? Yeah... it's the M203. I think the rear brace was seated funny. It didn't happen with my other M203. Without the M203 and the full VIS-1 on there it's straight as an arrow. It's the M203's fault. oh man those are awesome... if you ever want to sell the eotech 551 tell me i want one. LOL... I'll keep you in mind, but I'm pretty attached to all my optics.
