Chris North
Dude, the driver really sucks at parallel parking. Edited August 30, 2008 by Chris North
evilliboba
Ah. Speed doesn't kill. Suddenly coming to a stop kills My girlfriend's older sister totaled her car at 5mph. She was coasting down their dirt road and happened to look down for a short moment. The truck drifted off the road and hit a power pole.

Night_raven
How'd that happen!? Reversing? Â Yeah was reversing, mis-judged the corner, by a good 3ft or so. Â Chris_North; Â Was attempting a three point turn. Â Â
TheKurodaVagrant
So I took a trip down the road where my friend and I attempted to fly the car a few weeks ago in search of the legendary sign I mentioned in an earlier post, and sadly, it is gone, now. I guess someone thought it was too awesome and decided to steal it. I wanted that sign... Edited September 26, 2008 by TheKurodaVagrant
evilliboba
Ow... yea not a good thing. I hope shes ok? She was fine. The truck and telephone pole weren't. $5000 worth of damage at 5mph.
Punkypink
That sux. Well I did about that much damage at about 15mph.
Warning
Here's my civic (cue asian stereotype ), altho it don't look like much damage there, it was a write off which annoyed me to no end, and this all happened when some chav decided it was a great idea to shoot the lights at a junction in his vauxhall fruitcage corsa (which has sparked a hatred of all vauxhall). Â Â now im driving a little fiesta, i miss driving my civic... Edited October 29, 2008 by Warning
triggerhappy16
Bastards! I had a Civic (though a 1.4 without the spoiler) and it is a shame as they are good cars and I'm sure it will have served you well.
Punkypink
Personally got a thing against Civics, but thats cuz they're used back were i was born in pretty much the same way that people here use Corsas
evansy
Personally got a thing against Civics, but thats cuz they're used back were i was born in pretty much the same way that people here use Corsas As a reliable way to get you to and from work and airsoft skirmishes? Until they get broken into. Lots. Â
Punkypink
No. Always flying off the road at 5mph and either breaking into 2 or ending up wrapped around a lamppost like the red stripe on a candy cane.
evansy
My Corsa never flew off the road. It did cock its back wheel and get a bit loose at the back end when I went out playing on the roundabouts in it
loki7491
sadly i dont have any pics as it was about 7 years ago. Â whilst living in germany, a mate and me were driving the autobahn in his old corvette (5 or 5.3 litre) or something similar. Â hit some black ice and then piled into the centeral reservation. by the time we stopped rolling and spinning there was no car left. we were both sat in what can only be described as a roll cage with seats. Â our injuries were no more than a small cut on the head and a wrist injury between us. Â bottom line... corvette, fast in a straight line. cant turn. *suitcase* in the ice. however, if you are gonna crash at speed, i highly recommend one!!! Â Â
vowlesy
Ouch! Some of those xrashes must of hurt!
Wayneard3413
Took my 240 over a hillside a couple years back...    Couple flips later and the car was totaled... I lucked out really, nice headache and a "slight scratch" to my left ear haha
spetsnazdave87
Dude... that just put me off my pasta. Â My brother was involved in one of what had to have been the worlds all time dumbest crashes. Sitting in the passenger seat of his mates car they had been trying to overtake an old couple moving at about five mph down the twisty country lanes for about five-ten minutes. Â Finally got to a straight stretch, accellerated, overtook, both turned to look and gloat at the car behind them, and their vauxhall corsa sailed straight off the 90 degree bend, over the ditch, through the hedge and a barbed wire fence, ending up about ten feet into the middle of some farmers field. They were both fine, they just apparently 'didnt see the bend'.
thewallhitme
im suprised ur glasses stay on lmao, that looks paaaaiiiiiiiiinful.
Wayneard3413
Trust me I had a few people asking me why I would put my glasses back on seeing as how they were in an open wound... Â All I can say is that I am blind as a bat without them and you tend to not think very clearly with a serious concussion haha
Chris North
Didn't you post that picture before? I'm sure I saw it already. Â You tend not to forget a sight like that....
Wayneard3413
I have posted it elsewhere (other forums) but this is the first time I had seen this thread
Chris North
Ooh, this is spooky. Â Did that heal up?
Wayneard3413
They called in a plastic surgeon who was actually able to reattach my ear... Now there is just a small scar that most people don't notice if they don't know the story
Robinio
Yuck, no I never wanna drive again, and a 240 is my favorite car :S
