Billy Bob the Sniper Posted July 15, 2008 Report Share Posted July 15, 2008 I know how to dissasimble a real colt 1911, but is there something different bout the kimber? you pull the slide back to tthe little notch and push he slide catch up, then on the right side push the pin out... well its not budging. any help would be great. i need to put a threaded barrel in btw. thanks. hitmanNo2 Posted July 15, 2008 Report Share Posted July 15, 2008 Yeah, the new WA slide catches tend to be a little tight as there is ridge that needs to be popped over. I find pushing the pin with biro pen with the nib + ink reservoir removed. This provides a nice concave end to seat on the pin which wont scratch it. Link to post Share on other sites
