Snowman1
An awesome field in the summer (sand, sand errywhere) completely goes to shiz in the rain: Â Â And yes, I'm missing a kneepad. Edited April 8, 2011 by Snowman1
The Crunchy Bunny
Nice. That field is in Oregon right? I know how losing the kneepads in those ACM Crye combats goes, mine fell out like 5 times before I finally lost one. I just stopped using the pads cause they suck so hard. [NL]Infinity
+1. I decided to begin taking pictures as well during games. Any tips about protecting my DSLR? Â Kind regards, Â At least put a UV filter on the lens! That and using your brain
sigma3
UV filter might save your lens from a dead-on shot. MIGHT. Also get a lens shade to protect it from off-angle shots. Â I've used mine a few times and had no problems, but of course probability will catch up with you eventually!
SeekND
Turns out that urban works really well in the mountains full of snow
TheFull9
I'm undecided if you look more like Example or Gaz out of CoD4. Â Given your playing environment, I'm going to guess you're not exactly cockney. But if you can do the accent, I would say that some DPM is in order, then go hunt for that Makarov bloke. SeekND
Actually, it's supposed to be Artic Avengers from Counter Strike. Â

delendam_pandion
When I was 7 years old my teacher told me that there is no bad weather, only bad clothes. farrasdevell
Guess the GBBR's were right out of play for that event. What does the cold do to your batteries!
delendam_pandion
Farrasdevell: GBBR with CO2 are ok during milsims due to the fact that you in most of the firefights only fire a couple of rounds. GBBR with compressed air is no problem. Â Batteries are no problem as long as you avoid small NiMh/NiCd. Use large cell or LiPo/LiFe. Â The biggest problem with the cold is to keep the gas canister for cooking warm. I put it under my jacket an hour before I will cook food. And the canister and my weapon is in the bivack with me during the night. Mmmh.. And frosen boots is so nice to put on in the early morning
Grindstone
And frosen boots is so nice to put on in the early morning I learned in SERE training not to leave my boots sitting outside the shelter. From that night on, I put my boots in my sleeping bag, so they were nice and toasty in the morning. Edited December 2, 2011 by Grindstone

SeekND
Not a brit. Just living here now  Those pictures were made in Portugal. Here's a video made at the same time of those pictures.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=anWHGCcPQO8   and another in REALLY high wind conditions, when in a MILSIM game we had a mission that consisted in protecting a mountain access.. FireKnife
Well I think this counts, playing by the 'Mine' area and running across open ground was like how I would imagine running through a Slush Puppie. Â Â Though I was out and waiting for the rest of the defensive line to crumble, so thought why not? Â 'FireKnife'
