ghostsniper995
i reckon this is a good place to ask this question i realy want a AKS74U which is the best one out of all of them including all the expensive japanese manufacturers (not the gas ones) Edited November 24, 2008 by ghostsniper995
my_plague_666
no restraints on budget? VFC are far and away the best if you can fork out for them. externally nothing comes close and the internals are sound too.
ghostsniper995
i thought that would be the case time to start saving and i dont see the point on saving money when you buy the gun if your just gunna have to spend a shitload later to repair it Edited November 24, 2008 by ghostsniper995
RedScare
I have a question for you fine gentlemen. A friend of mine wants to purchase a VFC PMC AIMS and he wants to know if the foregrip of the aims pmc can be swapped with TM-compatible foregrips. Thanks
Mr Foxhound
Why not just get the normal AIMS then? The point of the PMC is the rails...
RedScare
i think he means the grip and not the actual hand guard. I just copy and pasted from the AIM log Edited November 24, 2008 by RedScare
Victory
Ok, another AK related issue on my hands. While installing the PBS-4 that arrived today, I had to use a decent amount of pressure to get it to mount at the correct angle. In doing this, I think I flexed something that shouldn't have been flexed, as the fitment of the handguards seems off now. I have no idea as to how to correct this. Note: I didn't perform the wear job. I received it like this. Any suggestions? (I thought the VFC was a solid gun, and that I wouldn't have to worry about this sort of thing...) Or did it look like this before, and I just wasn't paying enough attention? -Vic Edited November 25, 2008 by Victory
dookieboy
Hrm... I don't seem to see the problem.
Victory
Heh, there may very well be no problem...I haven't really studied the externals, to be honest. I saw gaps that I didn't remember seeing before (not the handguard gaps, the others) and got worried. -Vic Edit: I know the upper handguard wiggles a bit more now than it used to. And the front sight post is a little looser than before... Edited November 25, 2008 by Victory

Agent Hunk
VFC AIMS Two questions for other VFC AIMS owners. What are the best mid-caps to go with it? I've read the mag well is rather picky. And does anyone know a barrel clamp that will fit it so I can attach a light without rail rape. Mr Foxhound
MAG Midcaps feed flawlessly in the VFC AIMS Edited November 25, 2008 by Mr Foxhound
Clot
Yup, MAG mids feed vfc perfectly As for lasers and lights and jazz, why not get a real Russian one http://www.rusmilitary.com/html/laser_sights.htm
neoptolemus
Because the AIMS is Romanian and Belomo is a company from Belarus?
PlasticMag
Heh, there may very well be no problem...I haven't really studied the externals, to be honest. And the front sight post is a little looser than before... It could be that the barrel loosened up a bit. De-pin the barrel, slide the front end off, and make sure everything is nice and tight, then put the front back together, tighten the set screw under the rear sight block, and re-pin it. Should fix any issues.
Snigel
Know I should'nt ask questions here, but i need to know. Are these new LCT-kits au pair with the INO/RMW? Quite tempted to buy like 10 of them
my_plague_666
for the 200 billionth time they are THE SAME THING! LTC make the parts for RMW/inok/G&G and always have done, now they're selling them under their own name too.

ComradeMP1
You can use .50 cal links to mount a small flash light or laser on the AK, just like the boys do over in 'stan and 'rak. I take picture of Kalshnikov rifle, progressive yes?
