-=OGGY=-
thats the kind of gun that just screams to be weathered
beta08
Mine? Yeah, I know. I want it to look... well, there isn't really a word for it, but you know what I mean. "Nicely weathered" I suppose, not so much abused. EDIT: I have looked for the weathering guide but can't find it... could someone give me a hand? -=OGGY=-
yeah i'm not talking about making it look as though you just pulled it out of the ground, but it should look used
beta08
It also needs the steel tip which Airsoft Atlanta doesn't include with their guns... BAH!
Scharf
is that sling from ladies purse?
Apache137
haha, looks like a purse strap. but i like the "rope" you tied around the stock, and the sling looks nice... yeah, AA use to include the tips, but i guess not anymore...
Abelius
It's perfect like that. The whole weathering thing is stupid, at least I've seen way too many worn ak type guns and there was nothing sexy with rust and all the shine.

beta08
No, my parents were cleaning out their closet the other day and found an old camera strap, which is what I am using for the sling. Thanks for the compliments!
Sonny
It also needs the steel tip which Airsoft Atlanta doesn't include with their guns... BAH! I must have gotten lucky. As they included mine, as well as the silencer attachment one too.

aber_guy11
What kind of range and accuracy does the VFC AKS74U have? Or the Boyi version? I'm thinking of getting one. And where can I get black furniture for it? Edited January 21, 2009 by aber_guy11

Yuri
Just got my LCT AKMS. First impressions, a pain in the *albatross* to put together and the grip looks a lot cheaper than it did in the pictures, otherwise I'm happy. Anyway, I have a question that someone here might be able to answer. There's this little piece that I can't figure out. I guess it's got something to do with the bolt. It's on the left in this picture on WGC: http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...-PK-28_srch_lct So, where does it go?
mightyjebus
hello mate, That part is used when you want to mod the gearbox so that you have a working bolt (blow back).
Yuri
Thanks! Just finished assembling. The fire selector on this thing is the best I've ever seen on any AK. Very much like the the ones on real AK's I've handled. Snaps into the different positions nicely. Edited January 22, 2009 by Yuri
ancorp
hello mate, That part is used when you want to mod the gearbox so that you have a working bolt (blow back). Nope, that little square piece goes on the end of the spring guide, right before the button of the geabox, to keep it from rotating.

Rambo Kid
Does anyone know anything about AirsoftGI's new Cyma AKs? Link.
motherland
hello mate, That part is used when you want to mod the gearbox so that you have a working bolt (blow back). No... As ancorp says it keeps the spring guide for the bolt square with the receiver, and also seems to act as a spacer. Here's how the whole thing goes together.
