What overall would be easier modding the grips or the "mainspring seat"? I get my P226 tomorrow!

So I may end up getting the Hogue Wrap Around grips to finish the gun off.

It is a upgraded (Piston cup and High Flow Valves) TM P226 with Guarder Metal Kit. I got it for $150 since my friend is in financial trouble...

I'll get pictures up tomorrow or even better... action shots :D

Answers to my question would be greatly appreciated!

Depends on what tools you have. I chose not to modify the hammer spring seat becuase i didnt want to weaken it since mine had an enhanced hammer spring. Using a dremal was kind of hard to cut through the rubber on teh grips at first because it just melted onto the tip. But when i used teh cutting blade it was pretty simple.

After the b&w pics, some color now :

TM P226 + PGC kits + Hogue grips (not dremeled : I modified the part that receives the hammer spring) + combat trigger (not the real one, that can't be modified to fit, but a modified standard TM trigger) + Guarder Enhanced Valve Blocker + Guarder Enhanced Loading Muzzle + Guarder Enhanced Piston Lid + Firefly Rocket Valve  + Guarder Steel Recoil Spring Guide + PROUD Enhanced Recoil Spring + PROUD Enhanced Hammer Spring + PDI 6.05 Inner Barrel + some cosmetics modifications. 930g on the scale.

The result is quite satisfaying. But, I still have some work to do...

Very nice touch with the real-steel gun case and the two tone. Add some Nill grips to that and it'd be perfect for me, but Hogue rubber is probably more your style.
