Hey Guys, i need some TM p226 Technical help. I was installing a new grip to my pistol when a spring popped off. (part no p226-42). I posted in the technical section here:

If anyone knows how to help me, please do... sexy pics will follow once i get the grip back on. Many thanks in advance.

Thanks to Davedawg i placed my grip back on. horray. Unfortunately, however, I found that the Insight m6x doesn't work very well with the hogue grip (since it doesn't fit snug to the pistol grip and it becomes a bit more difficult to activate sine its rubber pressing against rubber) If i was really determined, i'm sure i could force the backplate switch into the proper groove, and perhaps glue/ tape it in place... but i want to keep it versatile at the moment.

Mine isn't creaky in the slightest.

Even before I put the hurricane metal kit on it I tightened the buggery out of the outer barrel and battery holder then put a bit of PTFE tape on the handguard tabs and it was as quiet as a mouse (but not squeaky - damn bad analogy).

I milled a detente onto the metal body so the selector still clicks into three round burst.

Three round burst still works and I have a way of running really high voltage, high current batts with it without blowing the circuitry up. How to coming soon.

Thanks, I would change the mag base if I could.  When someone comes up with a better looking mag, I will buy it.

Dude are you still using the stock TM P226 grips?

If so,

Get some real deal ones, or maybe a pair of pachymers (correct spelling??)....fingered groved grips.

I don't mind the base plate. Although, I wouldn't say the TM mag is all that unrealistic:

Here's a .357 mag that has closer angles:

And a 9mm Megcar mag that shares similar angles:
