I can't understand why UK retailers charge ~£10 to ship a pistol a few hundred miles, when Guns N Guys only charged me ~£20 to ship my P226 a few thousand miles from the other side of the world. hardboiledcop Posted June 16, 2007 Report Share Posted June 16, 2007 ok guys, I know the misalignment between frame and slide is common with a prime kit upgrade (the slide sits a couple of mm too far forward, doesnt effect the working of the gun), but is there any quick fix for this? or would that negate the current perfect working state of the gun? ta. davedawg123 Posted June 17, 2007 Report Share Posted June 17, 2007 I think it has something to do with where the trigger mech is seated. If my poor memory serves me correctly, the tolerances of the holes are such that trigger mech is placed a little too forward, and this affects how forward the barrel assembly/ recoil guide sits, which in turn affects how forward the slide is.
