Hello all I just thought I'd post an intro thread as I have been lurking around arnies airsoft reviews for a longtime and this forum for a few days so...

well, theirs not much to say I started arisofting last year being interested in WWII history for forever I discovered reenacting, and then airsoft so...bought my self a tanaka K98k and thats the only airsoft gun I've had so far believe it or not :) ready to purchase some kind of G36 k though. Thinking about the classic army make.

any way, enough is enough so cheers, hope to see my self around on these forums some time.

cheers

Well, I suppose this is as good a place as any to ask a quick G36 question. Doing research today I am thinking about doing this to make a g36. long version (Normal version)

echo 1 g36c

taking the g36 and bipod front from star http://www.starairsoft.com/product_detail.php?productid=81

getting some kind of longer barrel from some where (any one know a good place ?)

c-mag form star (I don't know if theirs other better ones but this is the only one I found) http://www.starairsoft.com/product_detail.php?productid=138

and then I would just need to get the top carry handle and sight set up somewhere, unfortunately my research proved fruitless in this department, so help here would be nice.

so essentially I'm trying to make something like this:

and this : http://www.airsplat.com/Images/ERA-CA-G36-LONG.jpg

would it be better just to get a CA 36 or do this, the cheaper the better :P and I can always redo the gearbox and such if I want better performance later, but I'm almost sold on this for my first AEG, any suggestions on this/ maybe a better place to post this.

and sadly I have no digital camera at the moment my old one broke a while ago and can't be arsed to get one just yet.

with all the upgrades, might be more worthwhile to get a Classic Army full size G36 at $254.95 on Evike.com

because I think a JG G36($120 on Evike.com) would come to about the same price after you've bought the longer barrel outer and inner, handguard, and integrated carrying rail and scope. Saves you the hassle really, for maybe a couple more bucks. I don't think you need or want a bipod and C-mag or box mag if it's the normal full size rifle version you're going for. Perhaps you're thinking of the MG36 version?
