avisonjohn Posted August 26, 2008 Report Share Posted August 26, 2008 Ok, on the WE hi cappa 3.8, there is a small plastic nib (5mmx5mm) screwed onto the hop assembly. it sits just below the hop adjustment wheel and i front of the slide locking hole. Anyone know where i can get a replacement or does anyone have one spare they wanna sell? i tried eery site i know of and no where has it Is my hi cappa doomed? Link to post Share on other sites

avisonjohn Posted August 26, 2008 Author Report Share Posted August 26, 2008 Not true, this part helps keep the outer barrel in the correct location when the slide cycles after each shot, there is a chance (which as happened on several occasions) that the slide wont return all the way and will jam causing the mag to empty its gas. The outer barrel then has to be push back into the slide a notch by hand for the slide to return to its original position ready for the next shot. Really need to get hold of this part.
