DSR-DELAY LETTER

Dear DSR-1 Customers,

To those who have ordered our new DSR-1 Sniper airsoft rifle, we would

like to bring you the good news of our licensing agreement with DSR.

We have made several improvements over the prototype you've seen.

The DSR-1 you're about to receive will be made as per the specifications

of the weapon manufacture, and all the engraving will now be engraved

as per DSR's specification. This will be an official licensed product of DSR

which you will all appreciated.

Due to the improvement and modification we've made over our prototype,

there will be a slight delay of delivery time and the retail price

will be adjusted to reflect the improved quality and authenticity.

We regret the inconvenience caused, the newly improved version would be

well worth the price and time.

Sincerely,

ARES - QRF - SQUARE

Yeah, riiight.

As I said at Gunners DSR forum thread;

I talked at work to our offices lawyer and stated that we pre-buyers do not have to pay anything more if we have already paid the earlier price and agreed to sellers deal.

We all have a receipt of the money transaction. That is a valid contract.

Well, other participant can dismiss the deal tho. So, that means that if I really really want the rifle, I´ll have to cough up more money.

Sucks azz

Extra money for accurate trademark eh. I suppose they know well the heart of the airsofter.

From the vagueness of their "improvements" i would wager there haven't been any improvements at all :P but if it can group like the prototype that Gunner tested then at least in terms of accuracy it probably doesn't need much improvement :)

While they may or may not be able to charge more for something that was preordered and a deposit payed for, there's nothing stopping them from canceling all the preorders, refunding everyone's deposit and reopening orders/preorders with a new price tag. If my preorder get's canceled and money refunded, I better get every last cent back including Paypal fees.
