Squeezee
I will see what I can do Joe. My BDUs are currently in the wash, seeing as I came back drenched in sweat, but other than that I can get everything on but my boots (Too small). I'll try to get some pictures though. Does anyone have experience with Bates 85501 boots? I am looking at gettting a pair of them.
masakarijoe
squeezee, what size boots do you wear? i may be able to help you get some. and they are NOT BDUs, they are MCCUUs yes, i am making a 3rd USMC loadout. old school classic woodland. tomorrow everything except the cammies should be here, so ill snap a pic. but the rifle is coming later -Joe
Matt0311
Finally got my Spartan 1 Assualt Vest. All i got to say is BEAUTIFUL, and comfortable. Definitely worth the price 175$, and the Coyote Brown color is REALLY close to USMC CB, if not exactly the same. Gunna buy some camping mats and slide them in as soft armor. Also going to make my own SAPI, plates, somehow... But anyway, i'll try to put some pics up of it, my IBA, and my weapons.
The Crunchy Bunny
Joe, what rifle are you gonna use?
masakarijoe
sounds awesome matt! i got one too, and i love it as well. so much space! but as far as my rifle, i will be using an M16A2 carbine or M4A1 with M203 standard CAR stock, M203 handguard heatshield with leaf sight, fixed carry handle (if possible) with quadrant sight. it will be painted dark green, OD green, and black -Joe
airsoft_maniac
Go for the M4a1 with Ta31 and M203 it'l look sweet.
The Crunchy Bunny
I think you should go for the A2 cause there freakin' sweet.
masakarijoe
no, this is going to be a 1990s kit, so no optic, and i want a fixed carry handle, if i can find one. its not going to be an M16A2, but an M16A2 carbine -Joe
comrade5
CA still makes the M4 with the fixed carry handle and the M16 if you want an A2

And sorry about that, they are actual old school BDUs. I hope to get desert MCCUUs or a flightsuit later. I want to get them soon as a game is coming up in 13 days and I am gonna be on the desert side. I have DCUs, but they are kinda big. Believe it or not I wear a size small short. My small DCUs are baggy.

McArthur
Hmm - earlier this year in a small debate on my home forums somebody made the comment that I could not even last a day with a combat load with real weight. Naturally - I told them I could, and so now the race is on for me to have a realistic weighted combat load for Nats 2009 (February 2009). I have been offered two SAPI plates for $150 NZD each (I guess thats about $100USD), but I'm not sure if I should get the SAPIs and keep them as a bit of a novelty or just buy the PANTAC copies and weight them down. The plates are rated for point blank impacts with a 7.62, does anybody know if it's possible to slide two of these into the PANTAC Outer Tactical Vest? What kind of armour goes into the groin protector? (Or even better, how much does it weigh ) Cheers, Tom
