I will put it up on eBay and let it go to top bidder. I did the but pad from wood, the foam I could find wasn't making me happy and I couldn't cut rubber clean enough. dobey Posted November 14, 2008 Author Report Share Posted November 14, 2008 The new owner of the CheyTac requested a pair of 'barrel extensions' one in the camo pattern of the gun and one black. I finished them up and wanted to load up some of the last pics I will get to take of this thing as it goes out the door as soon as the paint is dry. These are very high quality pieces, the CheyTac needed a thread adapter and a collar for the barrel to fit the 'extensions'. The thread adapter before it got cut from the bar stock. I usually don't take in progress pictures because I work alone and am very focused on the machining but a rare shot: the parts on the gun: Here is a shot of all the parts, every thing black I cut on my new cnc machine and is from PVC: The ends: The end that slides over the barrel collar: And here is one on the gun: And my new favorite picture: I promise to take a few quick shots before I pack all this stuff up, but I am sure the new owner is anxious to get his hands on it Link to post Share on other sites

All the new parts are painted up now: I love this design with the collar on the barrel, the 'extension' is rock solid and perfectly true. Here is the second unit in black.
