I'll post some more pics later on with all the extras attached, This is basicly my new project gun now that I have finished the MP5A4. sp00n
Looking good, maybe a deeper shade of OD though, looks a little bright/neony.
WickedBassie
This pictures were taken in a weird kind of evening light, normally the color looks just fine...

WickedBassie
What camo is that under it? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Don't know for sure, but it seems to be an west-German camo from the DDR era...
Kukailimoku
Don't know for sure, but it seems to be an west-German camo from the DDR era... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I never knew the Germans had a Dance Dance Revolution era. Remarkable.
Robot 2000
dude . . . it's the Deutsche Demokratische Republik i.e. East Germany 1949 (IIRC)-91. It wasn't all that fun (unlike dance dance revolution )
evilhippy
....Here a little shorter m4 for ya Just got done with the short buffer tube today... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not having any experience with modding guns, let alone actually handlin' an M4 at any point ever, do you mind telling me why you need the `buffer tube` at all? I take it it's not just for the stock to be remounted but it actually holds some part of the mechanism (A buffer zone for the cylinder to move into/out of?) Edit: words, placed correctly this time. Ledpocket
For airsoft, it covers the thing that the stock attaches to. In real steel there is a big spring back there.
evilhippy
So one could remove it completely and have the ultimate shorty M4? I've never seen one with it totally removed, I'm not bothered about the realism of it of course, and an ultra short patriot really is an appealing prospect...
Ledpocket
The thing at the back of the receiver could be sawn off, and you could shave maybe 3" off the length. That was a permanent mod I didn't really want to do. Plus I was going for a look (at the back) kind of like this real gun: But yes, quite possible to saw the whole thing off. evilhippy
That would be more in keeping with real steel certainly, it would look better with a small `nub` at the back maybe not totally removed. It's a kind of completion feature though, the shortest M4 known to man kinda thing Nonetheless it looks unbelievably good, fair play mate.
Kosac
I love that M14 is the stock painted as i didn't think that G&G did a OD stocked one
sp00n
There is a "pistol" style AR15 receiver/buffer tube that allows a flat rearend. I doubt any airsoft companies make one though. Edited September 6, 2005 by sp00n
evilhippy
Probably not, no. But nice to know it can done in real steel at least

expvideo
I think I'm emotionally scarred. "Daddy, why are all the accessories raping that M14?" "Just look away, son." *rush to therapy*
donnie
M14s looking good IMHO - Heres my M88 - it shoots 4 bbs at once out of 4 barrels - its got hop up and the range is quite good. Still got to remove the orange paint...

Ledpocket
there is an smg rear sling cap for the m4. one of my buddies got it. definitely requires citting off the stock attachment bit, though. I'll try to find a link later, and a pic of his gun...
Ledpocket
sorry for the double post, but my edit button has disappeared. Here is the pic of my buddies m4 with the endcap sling deal The part is $28 at wgc, but currently sold out: http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...-M4SMG_srch_smg Hope that helps in the quest for the shortest m4 known to man (I might have to saw a few more inches off the front of my gun, if a shorter one turns up ) edeeted far spullang Edited September 7, 2005 by Ledpocket
