I have a G&P RAS kit that has been laying around, so I put it on just to see how it looks. What do you guys think about the paint job? Now I have two stocks for M14. Carrion Posted February 24, 2006 Report Share Posted February 24, 2006 tbh i havnt used the svd much yet so i cant realy comment on it it shoots very nicly but i need to spend some range time to get used top it the same as i have with my aps. the fps out of the box is very very nice no upgrades needed. and it is very well made. davedawg123 Posted February 25, 2006 Report Share Posted February 25, 2006 I picked up a few things recently... The KA throw lever mount w/ forward riser isn't as grey as in the picture. It's black just like the G&P Aimpoint. I can't believe I spent so much money for a friggin mount! The ICS QD Silencer isn't as QD as one might believe, especially considering my flash hider was painted (all of which came off, btw). I was going to purchase a Phantom flash hider, but the silencer was only a couple bucks more. I initially wanted the long version, but I think the short looks just as good, if not better. Plus, it keeps the gun nice and compact, which is the whole point of the CQBR. I figure my M4 is more or less complete. I wouldn't mind flip up sights, an ICS PEQ w/ laser, and a bit of tan on my RIS covers, forward grip, magazines, and crane stock, though. Link to post Share on other sites
