HaVoC
Yep, I'm sure you've all heard about Mt. St. Helens, the volcano that fa mously lost most of it's side in the 1980's and is now erupting again. I've been there a few years ago and so I'm interested. The rest of you may find this really dull, but meh It's HERE to view, live on the internet. It upf=dates about every 5 mins and you can see it going - as it is at this very minute! Personally I think it's awesome, but maybe that's me, considering I want to be a volcanologist in later life
Sledge
Personally I think it's awesome, but maybe that's me, considering I want to be a volcanologist in later life <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Is that where you study Mr Spock? *Runs*
HaVoC
*groans* Awful! Boooo!!! *boos Sledge off stage, but he's already gone* Also by the way, the webcam seems to only update every 20 minutes or so during eruptions.
rhino
I think you mean Vulcanologist, not Volcanologist. As TaQ would say "Punctuation is your friend!" On another note, i thought the top exploded not the side (if i'm wrong, then Bleh!)
Sledge
As Rizzo would say: "Meh."
HaVoC
The eruption was so powerful that it removed literally one half of the mountain, and it wasn't the top half...

maccrage
NECROPOST!! Just looking back through, and found this. And realised the original eruption was 27 years ago today. And I could see it from my house at the time.
wolfstein5
Sweet? My parents were there when this happened. I have a t-shirt that they bought there that, legend has it, was rained upon by ash while it was being purchased.
