masakarijoe Posted March 1, 2009 Author Report Share Posted March 1, 2009 well, i have some more work to do on the rife, and im not going to ask my friends to do it for me... so it wont be finished until after i am back in august. but it will be mostly put together within a reasonable amount of time. i have to rewire it to the buffer tube (inside the tube, as opossed to outside the tube like i have it now) so i need a new "washer" with a slat cut for wiring. and i also have to convert my EMOD stock to hold 9.6V 1400 mAh batteries in accordance with USCMCorps' guide. other than that, its all straightforward, and i have decided on the setup i will use: EMOD stock Magpul MIAD KAC 600m rear BUIS TGS PVS14 on screw mount EOTech 553 holosight in front of that KAC rail covers grip pod birdcage flashider and maybe later, a PEQ15 with working laser (when G&P makes one). also considering replacing the eotech with a MARS when thats out, but in that case, i would also need a riser for the PVS14. -Joe Link to post Share on other sites

I think all you have to do is grind off the anti-rotation lugs... if that. Then if you can get the extra rail slots machined into the flat section you'll be all set. Link to post Share on other sites

If the barrel already goes past the DD MK18 rail since its an inch longer, I see no reason why adding that wouldn't allow it to fit fine. Link to post Share on other sites
