Gigueand
Ranger-arg, Is that the Star M800 "battery carrier?" Does it actually work as a flashlight and hold an AEG battery? Or is it just a glorified PEQ? How do you like the Star M4?

SkeeZo*O
Hello guys, My lastest impression, 1st MSOB 2007 in Astan : I need to change my NVG mount by a Norotos
Countfloyd
Normal Fanny pack would be better than the Large one.As you say change Norotos. And buy a Spine MAP or a Backpanel with MAP for that RRV. Very well done dude , just change those little things!!!That FSBE 2 Legpanel which brand is??? Regards
SkeeZo*O
Thanks but I don't need back pack for the RRV and I don't want it. Check the first picture, it's absolutely "normal"
Countfloyd
Lol well maybe if you don´t want a MAP you should get a canteen pouch xD.Probably that guy has one. I thought it was large fanny pack LOL. Haven´t seen that photo you have some more?? really interested on them!! Thanks dude

ranger-arg
Ranger-arg, Is that the Star M800 "battery carrier?" Does it actually work as a flashlight and hold an AEG battery? Or is it just a glorified PEQ? How do you like the Star M4? Yes, is the Star M800 battery carrier, i love it, and i love my star... dunno why some ppl dont like it, is awesome, has a bit of recoil with out upgrades and strong and powerfull battery. if some want to know what i did to my star m4 let me know i have replaced the hop up unit.. but thiat info belong to another thread. justin.kovacs
Looks like some pretty standard grunt stuff right there. We were actually issued that MOLLE system back in 2003 before going to Iraq..... I would suggest ditching that large sustainment pouch and replacing it with the proper waist pack issued as part of the complete system. That thing is huge and would get very annoying and also chafe like hell on your backside if being used in 100+degree weather..... The TT upright GP also kinda jumps out at you as being out of place with the rest of the kit......
The Crunchy Bunny
Yeah, suppose the kit could go wither way, I just prefer to call it a MFR Greenside Kit, because it sounds cooler. I've considered changing the sustainment pouch out, but it does fit all my stuff good. It's decently comfortable, since none of the stuff in thier is very hard or breakable. Although I'm sure it would chafe my *albatross*, but I don't really get to play in 100+ degree days here in Western Washington that often...... Yeah, it does. It's a little darker then in that pic, but once it gets some dirt and stuff on it (I got it yesterday) it should fit in a little better.
