Jin15
Beautiful Mossberg MODDAN! It's so rare to find a Marushin in 6mm flavor, and the Surefire forend is just plain awesome on the M500 (or any shotgun for that matter). I agree with you about ATI stocks being rather poor though. I'll be anxious to see what it looks like with the SpeedFeed stock on it. Going with a traditional style stock or a pistol grip stock?
MODDAN
Your feedback is most appreciated, Jin15. Yes, the 6mm Mossbergs are very rare. That's why I now have three of them. Regarding the stock I have already got a pistolgrip SpeedFeed in my possession, even though my personal preference is with the traditional style (trade, anyone?). I'll have some more pics up when I've changed the stock, and made some other minor modification.
airsofter0866
What exactly makes the ATI so bad? I was thinking about maybe getting a top-folder. Are there any others that you would recommend. And that thing looks sweet by the way.
Jin15
MODDAN, any chance you could post some pics with the SpeedFeed pistol grip buttstock attached to the M500? I'd really like to see what it looks like! I think the pistol grip is going to sit back pretty far from the trigger guard, but it is an option I've been considering a SpeedFeed IV-S stock so it would be extremely helpful if I could see what it looks installed on a M500 with a SureFire forend before I spent the money on one. And 0866, ATI's products are just low quality in general. Cheap flimsy plastic, poor molding, poor fit and finish, etc. I've never owned any ATI products myself, since their reputation for low quality is known far and wide in the real steel community, but this is what I've heard about their products from a wide variety of reliable sources. MODDAN
No worries, Jin. I'll have the pics up as soon as I retrieve the SpeedFeed stock (the stock is at my parents' home, my gun is in my apartment... I am a lazy, lazy man...). Furthermore, 0866, I've owned two ATI Top Folding stocks for Mossberg during my years, and I sold both within weeks purchase. The plastic is flimsy, like Jin described, and they are generally a pain to use. There's no spring loaded mechanism on the stock, like there is on the Remington 870 folding stock, and the ATI stock tends to get stuck in certain positions when you wish to unfold it. The ATI stock is also very long, which isn't really a plus for a guy like me, who have rather short arms. The only substitution I have found which might fit my criteria would be either the TriStar Tactical Folding Stock for Mossberg 500, or I'll just get a real-steel Remington 870 top folding stock. If it won't fit my Mossberg, It'll definitely fit my Tanaka M870.
airsofter0866
Thanks for the help MODDAN the tri-star stock actually looks pretty nice
TerranCmdr
My TM M3 I've had forever. Love this gun. Unfortunately, I'm selling it.
Jin15
Shame you're letting it go, Marui shotguns are just great weapons all around. But ya gotta do what ya gotta do I suppose On a side note, Has anyone ever installed a real steel shotgun bead sight on a ACM or Marushin M500? I ask because I recently acquired another 6mm ACM M500 and I'm going for a more old school look with this one, so I want to replace the ghost ring sights with just a plain gold colored front bead sight. My problem has been figuring out exactly what size the hole in the barrel for the original front sight screw is threaded. I thought it was M3x0.5 at first but the M3 threaded bead sight I got for it doesn't fit at all! So now I'm wondering if maybe it's 3-56, 6-48, or something else entirely. Any ideas on this one? MODDAN
Just removed the front sight from one of my 6mm's, and it's an M3. Removed the front sight from one of my 8mm's in order to confirm, and it's a M3. Could be that my slide calliper is slightly askew, since I at one point used it as a screwdriver... but I'm afraid I can't get it to anything else than M3. But what is the problem? Is the M3 screw you got too wide, or too narrow?
somegirls
Does anybody know here I can get one of those magazine clampes as shown in the TM M3 above? For the life of me I can't find one.

Jin15
Thanks for the help guys! I suppose it's possible that there was a mixup with my order from Midway USA and the sight they sent me wasn't M3 threaded. It would be the first time they've ever screwed up an order, but hey, these things can happen. In any case I'll order a new M3 x .50 threaded bead sight from a different company and see if it fits or not. I just hope that "M3 x .50" is the same thing as standard M3, as I can't seem to find any shotgun front bead sights in any M3 type size other than "M3 x .50"

aznriptide859
Mr. Street Sweeper's last photo shoot Methinks I have too many mags for this XD.
ED-SKaR
"too many mags"!!! thats less than 200 shots (if i count right) unless you play like a sniper then 200 shots isn't that many. Not for a single BB gun.
masakarijoe
well maybe its not his primary... when i finally make my masterkey, i only plan on having one or 2 short mags. if i need more rounds, ill speed load them in. it is a backup, after all. i only plan on using it when im out of ammo in my main rifle (and only until i reload) or when its too cold for my battery to work -Joe
aznriptide859
It's a "backup" to my MP7, which is a backup to my M4 lol. It'll just be slung around my back...waiting to get a chance at pwning noobs from far away . Seriously, if you have a shotgun that doesn't have a PDI TBB inside, I should whap you XD. aznriptide859
LOL. Amen to multishot, but I was tired of M3's. Now if you find me a SPAS folding stock, I'll sell this .

There was one for sale for ages here on arnies, but it eventually managed to sell (i am surprised it took so long!) And of corse if a single BB shotgun has enough power (400FPS plus) then you could claim you are using slugshot. They make quite a good marksmans gun at up to 150 yards. a one ounce lump of lead is quite mean.
aznriptide859
It does have an ANGS M120 in it..
BigBabyMoses06
Looked around but didnt find anything. Has anyone attempted to build something like this yet, or is it even possible? http://www.dreadgazebo.com/gunporn/wp-cont...onridge870s.jpg 3 shot would be sick. MODDAN
There was supposed to be an airsoft conversion kit coming out, making it possible for users to create their own Mesa Tactical shotgun. The kit was supposed to be made by Inokatsu's Masterworks department, but the release was never realized, and a while ago the Inokatsu Masterworks 870 tactical website went offline. So if you want one, the only realistic alternative at this point in time would be to create one yourself from scratch.
aznriptide859
I'm sure you can find that stock adapter somewhere, as well as that RIS pump.
