aznriptide859
I heard my name? XD http://www.airsoftretreat.com/forums/index.php?topic=19859.0 That's the original thread I did the project on - nothing more than a sawn off MP5 flashlight handguard Bondo'ed and JBWelded on the original grip. I SWEAR there is an M3 lighted grip by someone, though it was Surefire Here: http://www.opticsplanet.net/surefire-weaponlights-617fga.html Doesn't Super 90 mean it works for all Benelli M- models? MODDAN
That would be much appreciated! As promised, here is a picture of the solution: Not quite as tidy as promised, since this is the early stage of the modification. Can't find my camera at the moment, so I can't produce any current pictures, but this is the general idea. Note that the microline protrudes from the buffertube, and not the grip. My memory was faulty in that department. But making the line protrude from another location shouldn't be a problem. But the line is not really in the way at this location. It hasn't snagged on anything yet, and even though it has been shaped slightly as of lately, it did work more than well this way. Also posting some pictures of my latest acquisition: A Maruzen M870 wood version. It has a VFC/GB-Tech M870 Police Magnum metal body and metal front set installed, and is indeed a beauty. When I received the gun, my first reaction was to simply sit on my couch, weapon in lap, whilst continuously exclaiming "Wow" and "Damn", occasionally interrupted by "Mahr-muh-lade!" You could chop an entire forest down with this thing.
Dropkicked Baby
What modifications do I need to do to get a M870 to run on Green Gas? Is this the shotgun that I'm supposed to superglue the overfill valve shut or is that a different one?
Foxhound_Tur
That's the Marushin M500 you are talking about.
l85 guy
Dang that Maruzen is amazing. And the stock mod is pretty nice actually, I wasn't thining I'd like the looks, but you proved me wrong.

l85 guy
Anyone ever thought if you could figure out how to increase the mag capacity in the M500s? I was thinking the feed tubes have to come into the body at some point, and those BBs have to turn up into a chamber or something, perhaps you could skip the feed tubes, and reroute a feed tube from a magazine attached to the gun, up to the chamber. ED-SKaR
I had a wacky idea for an extended midcap magazine. Matching the lenght with a longer barrel would give you probably 50% + more ammo, but if you where to redesign the shell tube from the ground up and have a midcap running that lenght curving and running back (there is just enough room for that) then you would be adding another 33% as well (four lines in stead of three. giving you allmost double the capacity AND removing the need to twist the tube. i never got round to making it, i just dont have the skills or tools to do that. ED-SKaR
Not trying to re-direct the conversation, but If someone could just answer that? Thanks. (I dont know if it can already take it...) If its the maruzen shell ejecting gas m870, you remove the gas tank, fill it with green gas, replace the tank. IE, the m870 is fine for green gas, only the M1100 has trouble because its GBB. Jin15
Can't find Surefire lighted handguards for the Benelli M3 - will the ones for the M1/M2 do? Nope, the M1/M2 forends will not fit the Benelli M3 or it's airsoft replicas. And unfortunately, despite what the designers of Counter Strike led so many people to believe, Surefire never made a flashlight forend for the Benelli M3. But I'll be the first person to say that they should have
Pkekyo-Nor
Well, I've pretty much given up on finding a lighted foregrip for my M3 Super 90, so I'm trying to convince aznriptide to make me one. In that regard, anyone know where I can source just a foregrip for a DE M3?
RacingManiac
G&P M870...used... Want to get iron sights and front sling mount, any recommandation?
Horsem4n
for a front sling mount, you could replace the barrel/mag tube coupler with something that has accessory rails attached to it and get a rail mounted sling loop. as for irons, you can get a heat shield with irons attached or a bead sight. http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/SHT007-1.html http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/SHT071-1.html

RacingManiac
Can that heat shield + sight still allow the stock to be folded? So far that looks to be a good option...although it'd be nice to get the Trijicon ghost sight, this piece is hard to bring to work to go to the machine shop to drill and tap the receiver discreetly...lol I think this will just tickle the velociraptor...the single shot shot gun while fun to operate is no scatter gun...lol Need a sight to at least make sure I am ticklling the right spot... MODDAN
I have run in to a bit of trouble and need a bit of assistance from someone who owns a Maruzen M870. I've bought a Maruzen M870, but unfortunately it was dismantled in bits, so I would need some photos of the trigger mech and the cylinder mech of the gun in order to successfully assemble the gun properly. So if anyone could manage to upload some pictures of said mechs in this thread, then virtual cookies all around!

SpecialistR
My Marushin Mossy. RS Pistol grip RS heatshield RS raised tactical safety switch And TGS "steel" cocking arms Steel is in quotation marks because they are advertised as steel but as much as I tried I could not get a magnet to stick to them before I installed them. Now before anyone suggest I take a hacksaw to the barrel or remove the sights, thanks but no thanks. I quite like the longer barrel and my next step is a sidefolding stock.
