Wastelander- a gas-operated, semi-auto APS shell shotgun feeding from Saiga magazines, and with interchangeable barrel length. Full build log here.

Couldn't be happier right now.

Build log is over in Project Suggestions if anyone's interested.

How do you use that rebar that's sticking out?

It can turn in 90 degree increments. It's meant to either be used as a makeshift carry handle, or turned to the side to hook under your arm so you can hold and shoot one-handed while breaching a door, escorting a prisoner, rappelling from a helicopter, renewing your subscription to Tactical Life, etc.

He used to do cool stuff, his videos from over a year ago were better.

Now it's let's shoot up some armor.

Stuff stuff in a shotgun.

Or a product review....

All make the shotgun one easy for you, as long as there can be a good amount of pressure behind the load its going to fly.

Can a spoon stop a bullet? Really!

It's still entertaining and often interesting imo.  Perhaps you take it for granted, living in the US and being able to go out and around with fun guns.  For those of us living on no fun island, we have to live through people like Mat ha ha.

Rebuilt my APS CAM870 and did some mods!

Full length front end with 7+1 capacity, vertical pistol grip pump forend and pistol grip at the back.

Drilled two holes in the receiver to mount a rail piece to hold my optics, and at same time modded shell catcher to fit.

APS optics rail kit that goes around the top of the receiver prevented me from putting the shell catcher on. I want both for when I play games with this bad boy :D

Looks and feels pretty awesome!

Hehe.

It's an Instagram picture with the tilt-shift filter just to get the foreground and background blurred out :D

You can rotate the filter to be vertical in Instagram if you wish ^^

I think the mount you are referring to are the latches from the shell catcher attaching to the bottom of the receiver (just very dark in that area so it looks like it might block the loading ramp). And no it does not. Neither does the OEM APS rail mount that goes on the receiver.

But I have put a 5 slot rail piece directly on the top of the upper so that I could use both shell catcher and optics at the same time.

The APS receiver/pin mounted rail mount blocked the shell catcher from being attached.
