Zmarre
Original: After half an hour of work: It's a BE M500 6mm, full wood&metal. Lovely thing, looks awesome, sounds awesome, now I just have to try to solve the frikkin' front wobble and this gun is perfect.
airsofter0866
Have you taken off the outer barrel? The first time I took my m500 apart I didnt slide the barrel on all the way, it stayed on and seemed secure but it would wobble a bit. I just undid the grub screws on either side of the barrel slid it back a little farther(sometimes it takes a bit of wiggling to get it to slide back completely) and now its solid. Horsem4n
yeah, the front entirely depends on the seating of the outer barrel. a simple fix really as explained above. oh yeah, and i absolutely LOVE the look. enjoy it, its an absolute beast with .25s. Zmarre
Well... it's not the barrel that wobbles but it's the frontgrip. And really A LOT.
-Clover-
I have a really simple fix for that, and it costs next to nothing to do. If I ever get the time I'll do a write-up. (talking about the M500 front-wobbling)
H.U.N.K
Just want a folding stock now... apologies for crappy phone pics... I promise to upload good pictures when I can be bothered! Do you have enough shells, King of Shells?
shmook
Well... it's not the barrel that wobbles but it's the frontgrip. And really A LOT. Its not a fix as such, but i had a real steel composite (black plastic ) forend on one of mine, and it was a tight fit. It made cocking harder, in a good way, and took all of the wobble and play out of it. I think the foregrip needs a bit of dremeling to fit though, i'm not sure, as i got mine second hand. With the wood, dont know if it will be the same, but maybe try shimming or packing it to tighten everything up. Hope this helps, Shmook
Auroris
Do you have enough shells, King of Shells? Haha yeah... yeah i do.
08kecarv
Do you have enough shells, King of Shells? I used to have 30 shells (all TM btw, no clone) plus my custom hicap ( ) when I ran my shotty. That is before my friend decided to break it for me.... all that after it had been running for five years strong
Doc_Glock
Here's my little homemade low budget "Airsoft Surgeon Tanaka M870" buckshot. The ghettoblaster. Disassembled to the smallest part, modified with homemade parts and then reassembled so it may have a longer lifespan than the original Tanaka would have.
Horsem4n
stop posting up pics like that. just upload them to the internet and past their url in your post and surround them with image tags [img=pic url here] i cant see images when people post them that way. Edited November 24, 2009 by Horsem4n
Doc_Glock
Ok! Sorry for that mistake, I'm not so used to posting in forums, but I'm learning so let's give it another try. I hope that everybody can see it now. The Gettoblaster version 1.
Kenworth W900
Pretty darn sweet Tanaka you got there Doc, I have always admired the deep black finish and bead sights on them - shame that I can't have that combined with an M500 system

airsofter0866
Looks nice, how are the sights mounted? Edited December 4, 2009 by airsofter0866
aznriptide859
IIRC those are TruGlo sights for the Benelli. They use a small grub screw to hold on, though I'm guessing he used a washer since the screw is too small for the FSP screw hole.
Steinbruchsoldat
The front sight is scratch built by me and glued on. I really like it...
Silent_Assassin
I've just sold my DE M56 so before I packed it up ready for shipping I had a play around with some bits out my spares box. Here's what I came up with... Here's my parts list, nothing fancy... Clone RedDot Velcro backed shell holder held on by electrical tape Barrel mounted flashlight mount Maglite torch I tried it out around the house with the lights off and It is quite effective. The spare shells are within easy reach (if mounted the other way, and the Maglite and reddot work well together (the maglite has an LED bulb so its not too bright). I'm just sad that I've had to let it go Josh
H.U.N.K
I've just sold my DE M56 so before I packed it up ready for shipping I had a play around with some bits out my spares box. Here's what I came up with... How did you get on with that gun? I played around with my friends DE M56 and was taken back by the quality to price ratio. It out performed my SPAS12 in almost every category.
Pkekyo-Nor
The DE tri-shot shotguns are bloody brilliant in every way. Granted, they might not have the lifespan of a full metal gun, but they're so bloody cheap you could buy five of them and just grab a new one when your current shat itself I safe purchase in any and every way. MODDAN
Just bought this gun from a fellow airsofter on another, local, forum: It's a 6mm tri-shot Marushin Mossberg M500 equipped with an ATI top folding stock, a SureFire 623FA and some rather nasty looking shell holder glued onto the other side of the receiver. The gun is in it's current state pretty much exactly how I want it to be, apart from a few details. The ATI stock is terrible, at best. So that needs to go and be replaced with a SpeedFeed stock. Also I will be carefully removing the shell holder with some Q-tips and alcohol. Other than that I'm pretty much going to leave the gun as-is. Apart from a shotgun heat shield with ghost sights. And before you ask: Yes, there was a sale on Dr. Pepper and I bought four dozen.
