Tommygunn
What do you want? A neat and tidy wall hanger or a rough and ready real steel operator paint job. I personally like the real deal look where you spray the gun in a slap dash fashion. Soldiers are not artists!
Souske
Hey... I think I remember that paintjob from a while back when it was fresh (as in newly applied). I can't remember if it was you or not that was going for the A-stan look with the load out (with the traditional afghan hat). If so, it looks better now with the wear and tear on it. Tommygunn
You got me. Absoutely, a bit of wear and tear does wonders.
BoB SoiL
Well, the wall hanger paintjob looks nice, though I plan to use my Armalites as my "workhorses" so I may just say Hell to it and give it a go! Â Will need to grab a couple of other cans of Krylon too methinks... Â Â

DirtyMoFo
not worthy of its own topic really.. so here goes, i recently sprayed my motorola razer with OD krylon... and the paint has began coming off really quickly indeed, so if i was to paint a gun, should i use a primer? a sealing coat at the end? or just accept that it comes off at a reasonable rate? Â cheers!
Tommygunn
Ryan-John, Why did you bother? Â Dirty, More than likely it is something to do with the surface finish of the plastic. Krylon on my CA was bullet proof. If you want to end up with an effect like my M4 then do not primer it, just spray it on add-hoc. I've said this before, don't treat it as a medical procedure! Â If you want a wall hanger, and by this I mean you hardly use it and maybe just for garden plinking and bedtime, then yes use primer since the gun will get very little wear and will stay pristine. Â If you skirmish with it, it will not stay pristine no matter what paint you use it'll get chipped and worn.
Ryan-John
Why did I bother, it's unique. No airsoft gun that I know of except for one, a long time ago, has the same paint scheme. I've already had the chance to use it at 2 games already, and the wear, chipping looks great.
