chas
Sorry you guys, Im really sorry, but I thought I had mentioned they were not mine, but I changed the whole text of the post before adding it and forgot to write that part again! I wanted to post mine, but as the stupid camera I borrowed doesnt work, I decided to post a few of the pics I have in my "painted" folio on my PC. These paintjobs were made by different artists and found during my weekly searches for gun-paintjob-pieces-of-art through RS and airsoft forums. Ill try to edit the post to make it clear-

LORD_SEX
Had my M14 Sopmod with a tan paintjob, and a M14 EBR tan, so i had to change the color, and i painted black again the sopmod. Inside pics: Outside pics:

It looks absolutely amazing. I'd like to do something like that to my new Shrike. Tutorial, por favor? Ah yes, my recently-departed TM M14 SOCOM:

ardrummer292
M14 SOCOM kit, I believe. STAR made the full AEG awhile back.
LORD_SEX
Yup, thats a Star M14 Sopmod, close to a EBR, but not the same.
luvs2shoot
i like it more than the EBR. it's pretty cool and idea how much they are?
ardrummer292
Lots. If I recall correctly, STAR is the only company to make a replica SOPMOD M14. I heard it was pretty awful, too, being fullauto-only and all.
luvs2shoot
is there any gun that has gotten positive INTERNAL feedback that's a STAR-made gun?

Eggy777
These "worn" look M4's made me feel like the paint job on mine was way too shiney and new. So I set about roughing it up a bit. That's the paint side of things sorted. Currently I'm trying to decide if/which optics and if I need/would look cool with a supresser. Thorbard
How do trades stand up to being painted? I'm thinking of painting the CQBR i've got in the post to me, but its got one of those G&P bodies with the fancy markings and I don't want to loose them. Its tricky.
