Craft
I just finished giving my VSR a lick of paint. First i did it like this: Then after a day i decided that looked wank, so i did this: I'm quite pleased with the results I'll probably be adding a ghillie of some sort to it in the near future. Maple-Leaf
Easier than painting - this looks good.
Easy Company
HyperStealth simply looks incredible. So, it's apparently a "vinyl wrap" which is basically a super-adhearing sticker?
Yuri
Easier than painting - this looks good. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Those pictures are very misleading. They've just laid pictures of different guns on different camo patterns and made the guns transparent. Camotaping a gun will never look that nice.
chas
Yeah, those asses simply digitally added the same patternto the gunas to the background. God, this hangover is killing me!
HaVoC
Really, really obviously fake. You can even see the 'cut out' line around the gun.
blazevich
heres my TM AK pained OD green: http://photobucket.com/albums/a91/blazevic...nt=DSCN1245.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/a91/blazevic...nt=DSCN1253.jpg this isn't NEARLY as good as any of the guns you guys have up but hey its paint and it sure beats the 'wood'
Easy Company
Guys, their website says in plain English that the camo jobs are SIMULATED onto the weapons. The key word there being SIMULATED; I doubt any of us actually thought otherwise. I was merely commenting on the patterns.
HunterX
Here's a pic of my baby, hope you guys enjoy.
HawaiiIceMan
i did my own multicam and it looked good but i dare not attempt to do it again. Yours is really nice!!! HIGH FIVE!!!!

The key word there being SIMULATED; I doubt any of us actually thought otherwise. I was merely commenting on the patterns. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, what's the point of putting photos of "simulated" camojobs on a web page, if they have absolutely nothing to do with the actual product they are selling? To me it seems like a poor attempt to convince people into thinking that using their product will lead to an outcome similar to those in the "simulated" pictures. HunterX, that's one of the finest paintjobs I've ever seen.

Glenn
Thanks! Its my first experiment in Airsoft painting...I'm an accomplished spray painter in other fields, but I was nervous about doing a GBB. There are a few blemishes, mostly from poor or careless masking before painting, but it came out nice I think. The paint is holding up well, too, something I was afraid of. There are a lot of coats on the grip, because I found my older hicapas finish wearing thin there. We'll see how it holds up. After it gets nasty looking, I'll probably do a full on desert look, then maybe try woodland from there. I have yet to see how paint stripper reacts with TM ABS, so it may stay painted up forever. Belladonna
this was my first atempt too, tho i used weaker spray paints to achive it so they wore off easier and gave that 'used' look. should get a new pic of it after mondays skirmish, the wear is looking good... Craft
If anybody has any comments on my VSR they are more than welcome, even if they are bad. Come to think of it, i'm begging to find i don't like the look myself now, i might do it all back to black, but do the stock in OD. I'd probably use Krylon this time to get a flatter finish.
