Miker
Miker, Do they not provide an outer barrel internally? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ahh I see that big brass tube as well .... No they don't.... Shame huh??? I'll probably paint that as well... Along with the RDS.
Ceriph
Hey all, I wanted to ask if anyone could let me know how I managed make the tiger stripes on Eviliboba's G36 back on page 68. Im thinking of doing the same thing only adding some OD. All I really need to know is weather he used some sort of nozzel or ... something to make the stripes. tmas
Painted my M4 finally. It came out so *fruitcage* rad. OD base with tan sprayed lightly on top (trust me, in person the OD comes through a bit more somehow).
The Crunchy Bunny
A new desert paintjob I did a couple weeks ago. And the last one is of my same woodland job.
uscmCorps
I like the desert paintjob better. Leafy paintjobs always strike me less legit on an M4. Use the desert one in a few games... get some good wear on it like Souske's always have and you're golden.
Plymouth Roadrunner
erm... I'd rather have a trigger than a cool paintjob. Is it a springer?
ferretkiller
TCB, that actually looks pretty cool. The desert job that is. Im not keen on the leafy one. What front end is that?? it looks like you cut the spine off of an SIR. Edited July 26, 2007 by ferretkiller
Raven 6
erm... I'd rather have a trigger than a cool paintjob. Is it a springer? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If I'm not mistaken it's just a springer he uses for practicing his paint jobs.
The Crunchy Bunny
Thanks, it is indeed a springer. A WELL "MR-799". It broke and now it's my gun to practice paintjobs on. The front end looks weird becase I stripped it of it's rails for use on other projects. Edited July 26, 2007 by The Crunchy Bunny
Plymouth Roadrunner
Either way, the paint is good, you probably used the same technique I used on Mofomilita's UTG M324.

uscmCorps
Now that's a paint job Souske. And one of the few instances that I would give a big thumbs up for using leafy patterns. Very well balanced aesthetically! - I hate you.

Miker
Needs to be broken up more... I woul suggest not painting the grips and the trigger as well as the outer barrel... The lady bug adds a nice touch. lol

I probably should have used a more complex vegetation.

I found I had to tape down the vegetation to my gun which made it turn out not exactly the way I wanted it... EDit: Does somebody have any pics of some urban paintjobs? I want ideas Urban??? The Crunchy Bunny
Urban like cityflage. You know black, grey, white paintjobs to blend in in a city environment.

Love the light wear on the RIS. Is that from handling or a quick pass with some sand paper?

I decided the Krylon Khaki on the grips matched it best (ala Kimber style).
