Magsz
Its most likely the nitro vo. rail. http://www.wargameclub.com/pcart/shopper.p...at_Mount%20Base

Haji
Assuming it passes chrono, I'll be using my SR at op:Irene3, after which time I'll take another pic of it. The paint changes a little with every use.
Cordell
i thought this thread was goin to be about having "suck on this" written on the side of the gun and an arrow pointing to the end of the barrell. but no, just cammo colors, no dayglo orange muzzles or pink handgrips for miles
screamin_weasel
frangible, if you paint your M249, let me now, i want to see some pics, and maybe use tham as reference... and im STILL gagging to paint my MP5 tiger stripe, but its a very delicate design, and i dont know wheter to paint my only rifle/smg camo or not
Tommygunn
Er, yes you must! You'll be nervous at first but in your heart you know it's right.
HaVoC
Its most likely the nitro vo. rail. http://www.wargameclub.com/pcart/shopper.p...at_Mount%20Base <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dear sweet Jesus, no! It'll be something very similar to the ARMS Swan Sleeve, I'd bet. If I didn't know better I'd say it was one, but the front half of the rail is different, and I'm not sure if the Swan Sleeve mounts to a RIS forend. I know that one lacks a rear sight, but ARMS make them with an integral flip-up BUIS of the same design as on the gun in question.
Magsz
Gotta provide a better picture havoc. I dont think its the one you posted either. Its definately not the nitro vo rail sleeve. Edited September 24, 2005 by Magsz
HaVoC
Good pics of it are hard to come by. Edited September 24, 2005 by HaVoC
m4a1 556
Do they have any rails like that, that clamp onto both the upper receiver and onto the top rail of the RIS? Something like that would make the RIS rock solid.

Something like that would make the RIS rock solid. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes the Nitro Vo as mentioned before. It might not be 100% real steal authentic, but then again neither are batterys and motors, but it sure does make your AR rock solid. I've got one on my HKM4, I'll post a pic in the next couple of days if I get a chance. Edit: Just had a look at the picture again an it does look like a Nitro, the front end is attached to the rail. Surreel Big Fish
Here is my M15a2 Tactical Carbine. Sorry about the poor quality, the photo was taken on a camera phone.

Surreel Big Fish
Suprisingly, it isn't that bright in real life. I think the camera on my phone has messed it up a little. It works really well in grass and low bushes. It just blends in.
NOE15
Here are some pics of my M14 all done up. Out here in the islands the lanscape is quite mixed up. It's very arid but fertile, so we get this wierd desert like terrain with vegetation all around. That's why I have that mixture of desert with woodand colours. Frangible
frangible, if you paint your M249, let me now, i want to see some pics, and maybe use tham as reference... Will do matey! I'm still not 100% that I'll do it but if I do, it won't be at least for a couple of weeks as I'm off to Sennybridge soon If I do spray it, it will be plain OD like Havoc's M4 with distressing.. Cheers F
NOE15
I'll be doing my M249 as soon as I get my desert coloured parts. Wanted to keep the original black ones as is, so I have an option. I also liked the idea that no matter how much you beat on it the base colour never rubs off.
snip3r
that is one hell of a sweet m14!! toying with the idea of spraying my m16

Steingard
What rail do you have on the top of this gun? And where can I find one? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's an SPR mount (Made by PM concept) chopped to fit the M4. Edited September 29, 2005 by Steingard

Maybe I can be of assistance? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> hhmhmmmm could be intersting the only things holding me back are that i have never pianted a gun before, and i am also undecided as to whether to paint my only rifle/SMG with a camo design, bearing in mind its an MP5SD5, purely from a functional point of view. here is a mock up psaldorn sorted me out with, and i love it. with a stock i would like to add eventually. got any pics of your work ?
