chris u'5
You never told me you bought a Detonics Nick? Keeping secrets now are we? Only joking bud, how you getting on with it?
RockDog
thought I told you last week boss man. It needs some TLC, its mags are leaking at the bottom so its unusable in its current state.
Meesta_Rod
So long as the seals are OK they are pretty easy to sort out actually, just tighten the allen bolt in the bottom of the mag a little as they tend to come loose under pressure after some time, can't remember ever having to replace a seal on one of those either! livingplasma
Actually the Detonics is pinned and not screwed in like the Hi-Capa and TM 1911 style magazines. I had the same leaking base problem shortly after I got mine, I used teflon tape wrapped a few times under the gasket to tighten up the seal. Soaking the seal in power steering fluid for a few days to get it to swell up a bit would work as well.

8h3eZy
You can always soak the O-rings in silicone, or replace the damaged ones, a tedious, yet cheap solution.
