ChrisWPA
Yeah its hard to do that. But the reason I havnt had many pics recently is because of winter, I just dont know what to shoot in winter time :/

meppie
@Killoman - very very nice pictures. @ChrisWPA - photography is creativity and inspiration and for that you have to search for the answers with your camera. For me this means I have to go outside and walk and drive and look for that great picture.
Maveric
Its a nice photo Killoman but i cant help think it would look better flipped to the correct way around, the reversed text is damned annoying!
ChrisWPA
Yeah true, I havnt been outside with my camera because of the cold. And I just have no ideas to photograph so I thought I would wait untill spring. Killo great pics. Edited December 24, 2008 by ChrisWPA

ChrisWPA
Join a photography forum Its what I did. And read, use google to find "newb photography guides", they are very helpful.
Desolation mkII
Okay, I'm not partcularly good. I just shoot stuff I like the look of. (scuse the quality, they are dragged from Facebook). If anyone can identify the countries they were taken in they get a cookie. Unfortunately, and to my eternal chargrin this last one was the best picture I ever took and it didn't come out properly. Anyway to explain, the people you can see in the distance are running away (towards me), and that orange light in the distance is an exploding car outside the station. I am not sure if it was a failed carbomb or what. Edited December 30, 2008 by Desolation mkII
Noart
Uploading a few pictures i've taken during the years with my extremly *suitcasey* Olympus mju700. NONE of my pictures are edited in any way, no cropping nor colour balance, i count that as cheating. http://s149.photobucket.com/albums/s79/Klajnepojken/Views/ Most of the pictures are taken in Hälsingland (my county) but some are from Norway, Härnösand and Stockholm. edit: oh, i will upload soem from France too Edited December 30, 2008 by Noart
Trasher
NONE of my pictures are edited in any way, no cropping nor colour balance, i count that as cheating. In this case, all the old masters of analog photography cheated (since they cropped, retouched, hand coloured/toned their pictures).
Noart
Touché. Still, that's what i believe, at least when talking about digital photography.
meppie
My challenge is to keep the "cheating" to an absolute minimum but sharpening is mandatory but that is due to all kinds of converters to show the pics digitally on the web.
Xander.P
VERY minor curves i would also say to use levels and dodge and burn to subtley inhance certain parts they are taken with a fuji bridge camera fuji finepix s6500fd if i remember correctly my flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/31551933@N02/ i will upload some later on
Trasher
Still, that's what i believe, at least when talking about digital photography. Post-processing is equally important with digital and analog pics... Taking the picture is just half the job, no matter what camera you use. Stopping halfway intentionally (using in-camera settings, JPG instead of RAW) is not a virtue, but something else.
Fuser
Played around with the contrast and lighting, then popped the edges a little and sharpened some parts. Added shadows, adjusted the color just a little. I like the result.

Vercingetorix
http://www.pbase.com/photogenix my dad is a hobby photographer.... I have me a DSLR(Rebel XTi), but I am too lazy to post mine own on the interwebs, so these will suffice.... I need him to take some airsoft shots..... My dad has been through to many cameras(Canon original digital Rebel, 20D, 1D, 5D, D700, Lieca M8, etc) currently he switched from canon to nikon, so I get to use some of the Canon L glass he kept
