tanpanther
I prefer land CIRAS over any vests at the moment, but does anyone know if rangers has ever used them? (if you have photos of rangers w/ land CIRAS please post them) Sorry if i'm asking too much, but I really wanna make this impression as accurate as possible.
Titleist
With this entire thread is damn near ALL the information to make some bang up ranger rigs. That's a nice way of saying "read the thread". LAND CIRASs are good to go. But asking people to post pics or do the research for you can be annoying for those who have kept even a loose tab on this thread. There's more than a few pics of the night-time raids done by rangers with the LAND CIRAS. Again, do some reading, there's a TON of info posted, and it's only one thread, not 4 like the Seal thread. SWE_Thompa
the guy on the far left, is he a squad Combat LifeSaver? Whats the bag he is carrying? from the details on the outside it looks like some kind of Combat LifeSaver bag, but what kind? and is it a normal first line padded belt he has it attached to? Cheers Thomas
zarda999
It looks like the TT Intermediate Treatment Bag. I think TT is now A-OK in the platoons as some of those NASCAR pics did have TT shingles on them. -Ryan
[BS]_MARS
I'd say it's still an exception to the rule, but I'd also say you're more likley to see it on 2nd Batt because Tactical Tailor is right in their backyard.
zarda999
Looks like some CAG in that pic too... maybe a joint training thing? -Ryan
dilbert1337
looks like a NARP CLS BAG in RG or OD, when i was at RIP for a short while they usually had first aid supplies in their MAPPs but these cls bags just buckle around your waste so I figure its easier to work on your casualty that way. SWE_Thompa
Thank you Dilbert!!! it does indeed like its just that bag! Cool thanks!

binarypunisher
That doesn't look like a RAV - no backpanel. I still see more RLCS pouches on there than MSA.

Adiventure
Looks nice. Maybe a stupid question, but what's behind the tape (or whats the tape for)?
Titleist
The goggle retention straps.
-MOOSE-
Why do they tape that? So that it doesn't flop around on a jump?
Titleist
SOP is to have velcro on the underside of the straps, so tape isn't really needed. But some guys do it just to make sure they don't flop around.
